Pebblebee Onyx Stone Gen 2 Bluetooth Smart Button

I can't say anything good about this product. From day one it hasn't worked correctly. It has had at best a 25% success rate on even connecting to the app.I have a GS 6 phone and I've made sure the app wasn't dozing.. I've worked with support in debugging the connections and even almost a month later.. nothing has changed on the app or it's function. I actually purchased this and a honey... I lost the honey... and when I opened the app... it hadn't connected in over 10 days... so no luck on finding that. I had high hopes for this product... but have been let down. When it did connect... it still didn't work correctly. I had the left behind feature turned on... and it would go off in my apt and the device was barely 10 feet away from my phone. The button almost never works the way it's supposed to... 1 to 5 times of pushing it to get it to trigger even once. I wish I had better things to share but I don't.Note about support... they have been great... polite and they seem very much like they want to help... but sadly that doesn't change the product itself.

Does what it says and has lots of potential and is worth the price, but app could use some improvements. No obvious way to stop test alarm so it keep going (very annoying).Also no way to local device from phone other than map level. Need a way to make decide make sound or have a "local detector mode" to sense how close the device is to help find it.App interface could be more intuitive.Could use more options, like triple-click.Overall I like it and am happy, I just would like some updates to the app.

I see frustration here about not working. But it seems to be battery life. I knew this when buying this smart button. So a quick trip to Walgreens and got a cr2032 battery. Boom works great!They are selling this for $10 add a fresh cr2032 battery. Still you get a 2 short cut smart button for under $20. Single press and hold press both work great and with IFTTT I am satisfied.

Product arrived with a dead battery. Must be old stock. I purchased a New battery $3.99 and looked up how to change it online. Works as described now. Feel a little ripped off by seller.

This device makes no sound,so it is marginal in helping you find your lost keys. That is one of the main reasons I wanted.it. I missed that info in the description if it was there. It is also a bit confusing to figure out how it functions. Also I got unexpected alarms from my phone.as well.

It will not find your keys which is what I bought it for. It has no speaker so it can’t make a sound. It will make your phone ring. So I thought I would use motion for an alarm in hotels but I had to throw it down on my chair to make it go off. It doesn’t tell temperature as I can find is says to calibrate in settings which I can’t find. It is worthless to me I should took more time reading about it.

Very nice tool. Just be aware, as far as I can tell, the app needs to be open for the button to be functional. A little inconvenient and may be a problem for some.

I've been using this for the "text w/ETA" feature so I can safely communicate my arrival time with the one click on the road or otherwise busy with the kids or running errands. I'm excited to try more of the other features as I get better acquainted with this device. I love the little pouch it comes in. Great size, perfect for a stocking stuffer!
