Our Cork Rubber Tape, also called Cork Tape, is made from sponged synthetic cork and rubber with non-stretch print cloth vulcanized to the material. Cork Tape carries an extremely high tack instant grab pressure-sensitive adhesive. The tape's backing is a heavy, silicone treated, non-transferable release paper. Our Cork Tape provides an excellent seal, is an ideal shim, and under most conditions, acts as a bi-metallic insulator. It provides an attractive cushion for the base of metal and plastic electronic components, metal desk appliances such as desk lighters, pen sets, and glass tops for desks, which also gives items to which it is applied non-skid properties. Our Cork Tape passes the requirements of Military Specification MIL-T-6841 and was tested and approved for usage by the government for sealing plastic canopies over the cockpit on aircraft. Our Cork Tape also has non-crazing properties used in conjunction with acrylic plastic.
