Keep Cats Away from Lawn & Gardens, U Scram Minis Cat Deterrent, 5 Mini's-for Small Outdoor areas or Indoor use

I learned this the hard way. Do NOT use these in your house. I read the directions, and it seemed safe, as long as they weren't in contact with carpet, or so said the directions. However, two days into having one in my bedroom (where a cat had established a comfort station), I was coughing my lungs out. Oh, yes, it worked to keep the cat from using my carpet as a litter box. But the wear-and-tear on my sinuses and lungs was simply not worth it. Outside, they work fine, but again, if you are planning to do any deep breathing, keep these little trees away from your Zen space. A couple of rainstorms will deplete them, so make sure to order the replacement fluids if you use them outside.Another factor with me was, I did not realize how strong the .... ah.... fragrance would be. I prefer that my flower beds smell like flower beds. Effective as it is, this product definitely does NOT smell like a flower bed. More like you are refinishing your wood furniture.If I did not have cats, and if I lived in a neighborhood, I could find this product useful at the edge of my property to keep out the neighbors' cats. It does not seem to harm the cats, and it DOES keep them away.

Our neighbors feed the stray and feral cats in our neighborhood, and the cats like to poop in our yard. These appear to work pretty well until the scent fades, but they can be recharged with the spray. My husband reported fewer piles of poo while these were in use. He hated the smell though....it is strong...smells like licorice and herbs...which may be offensive to some. I prefer the smell to cat poo though!

I bought this to get rid of chipmunks next to my house and garage. Did not work at all. I filled in the chipmunk holes first and then placed these next to the area, the chipmunks re-dug their holes 2" away from the product. I repeated the process two more times placing the tree in the exact spot I filled and they just knocked it away and re-dug. This might work for cats but should not be advertised as a chipmunk deterrent. ZERO stars for chipmunks.

I tried almost everything to get rid of the cats to used my backyard as their kitty litter box.This little things work. Use gloves when handling U scram because the scent will stick to you if you don't use disposable gloves.The garden in the backyard is finally recovering and looking better. I am so happy.

I got these for two reasons. One, the neighbor cats like to use my front yard flower bed as their toilet, and my cat likes to use my house plants as his personal toilet... I put the larger ones outside in the areas the cats like to use and they crapped in it the next day! I put the smaller ones in my plants, which are rather large. He has not gone near them. It does however have a very strong smell, not bad but it makes the whole house smell like it, kind of like licorice or something.

My kitten loved getting into the dirt in my houseplants, but not after purchasing these! No more dirt on the floor! They have a essential-oil smell initially (not unpleasant) but it fades after a week or so. They are small enough to be hardly noticeable in the plants, too. Great little product!

These minis are like little cork triangles stuck on toothpicks - but they work great. My spoiled cat preferred using the soft dirt of my flower bed as her litterbox when she's outside, and I had just accepted that I would never have lush flowers. But - much to my surprise, these minis have really deterred her from this location, and my flowers are flourishing for the first time ever. The smell is pretty pungent at first, but it does fade in a couple of weeks. I've had these minis for about 2 months; maybe they need to be replaced, but I think once cats have formed a habit, they're unlikely to change. This was a very good purchase for me.

Chipmunks just walk right past these things-- fresh from the bag. I placed several of these right outside of their holes near my front step. They just look at them and move on. I bought two bags thinking I would replace them if they ran away-- but they never moved out!
