YPA MICROPHONESM1-C4SE Lavalier Clip-on Cardiod Mic Compatible for sennheiser Wireless bodypack transmitters

Bought this item in Feb 2016. We use it a handful of times everyday. Sound quality is excellent. A year after use, we started getting noise any time the the wire at the base is touched, nudged or moved. Now the noise is bad enough to overpower the speaker's voice. This is probably an indication that the wire is disintegrating on the inside. We took great care of the mic, but the wire is just too thin and not sturdy enough to live longer. We're forced to buy another one or a replacement. Overall, a decent value for the money.

This worked well in the areas we had mics in, but they don't handle well for constant use. After a few months the cord frayed on the end and started coming apart, this is mostly because of the people stretching the cord out everyday. The price is good though.

The device is only used once a week for less then an hour on Sundays. It stopped working within a mointh with a short near the mic. Problems happen so this did not bother me. I contacted the seller to get a replacement, was told they would send it. After a a several weeks, I contacted them again and once again they said they would send a replacement. I still do not have a replacement.

Good mic. This seems to help with recording outside when the wind is up. Can tell a difference in the clarity of the mic in post production. Would recommend to others as well as order another from this seller.

I use this mic almost daily with good, clean results and zero problems. It has a limited dynamic range but then again...it is a lav mic. Good and reliable audio for interviews and seminars.

The previous clip we had was flat, not enough bass. The quality of this microphone is mind blowing, crispy clear.

Did not receive the mic shown on the picture and it is not compatible with the Sennheiser model EW 100 G2. The mic shiped had 3 dot connector instead.

Bought this to replace Sennheiser mic, however the tone is too tinny. I did not expect it to be as good as Sennheiser, but this is just barely usable. Definitly not recommended for any type of professional use, that is why I have marked it down. Can be used where audio fidelity is not required.

As good as the Seinheiser original microphones. We bought these for some wireless Seinheiser body packs that were previously used for instruments. Switching into microphone mode and plugging these YPA Mics in to compare revealed they are a good/sensitive as the Seinheisers.

This is advertised as suitable for Sennheiser G3. I tried it with my Sennheiser G3 and it did not work. Whether the mic was faulty or not compatible I do not know. I returned it and have received a refund. One star for the device but the service deserves five.

Not recommended. The Jack is too short to be inserted securely into any standard recorder such as the H1 Zoom. Sometimes it picks up audio, most of the time not! It is unreliable and definitely cannot be used on someone if they are moving around - which is the whole point of having a lapel mic.

Bought this looking for a lower cost alternative to the Sennheiser G3 lapel microphone for the bodypack. Tone from this microphone is awful. No bass, very tinny sound. Dreadful!
