Great Heater
This is overall one of the best tank heaters I've had. It is reliable and it does a good job of keeping the tank temp constant. It is easy to adjust and it is easy to clean. The thing I think I like most about it is NOT GLASS. I don't have to worry about breaking it when cleaning it.A couple of very minor drawbacks:I have a 75 gal freshwater tank. The temp gauge on the unit is set to 74, but my water temp holds 76. This temp discrepancy is BY FAR not as bad as other units I have had in the past, and again it is reliable and constant. Perhaps this discrepancy is just because of my particular set up. Maybe with other tanks and situations there is no discrepancy at all.The unit is large and wide, so it is very visible. This doesn't really matter to me, but some may find it obtrusive to the tank environment.

Good heater so far
So far so good. I have had this in a 120 gallon tank for about a month or so and it works fine. I do have a cover o. It and noticed when I took the cover off for a water change and left it off overnight the temp dropped from 82 to 75 so it couldn't keep the temp up. I won't fault the heater for that though as I think my tank is probably a little bigger than what its recommended for. I would also call out its winter and at night my thermostat is set at 62 in the house so that doesn't help either.

Works great on my 55G
The 400W works great on my 55 Gallon tank, the temperature control is very accurate on mine. I confirmed this with a thermal imaging camera, and a water temperature probe. This unit has a little red light that comes on when it’s heating and I like that, shows me that it’s working. That can be hit and miss with some people. It’s dark enough compared to the lights in my tank so that it’s not distracting. My biggest gripe with this unit and the reason for the 4 star rating are the suction cups supplied, they suck and not very well at all. Every day or two I have to reach into the tank and push the heater and suction cups back up against the glass to secure it. For the time being I plan on making a trip to the local hardware store to hopefully find some better and possibly larger suction cups that’ll fit so I don’t have to keep re attaching it to the back of the tank every day or two. Or possibly just use some black zip ties and secure to the side of my HOB. But here soon I plan on going to a sump setup and in that case it really won’t matter because I can just lay the entire thing in the bottom of the sump and call I a day. Overall I don’t know about the long term reliability but after using it for about a week other then the suction cup situation I’m very pleased at this price point, at the local pet store something of this wattage would be triple the price and of the same quality. If I have any issues I’ll post further updates.

Great for larger/longer tanks
I have had two of these heaters, one in each of my 20g long tanks, for about 2 months now and haven't had a single issue! It took about a day to calibrate the right temperature setting on each of them as it takes a while with a larger volume but I love how long the heater is b/c with such a long tank it's hard to keep the water temp equal across the entire tank w/o 2 heaters. The suction cups on the back aren't the greatest and it's a little difficult to get the cups "stuck" to the heater unit itself but once you get them on there and really press it against the aquarium it holds very well. I've never adjusted them besides maybe up or down a degree or two. I have a few bottom feeders that also love to hang out on top of the heater on the control unit (away from the heating element) so that's a neat little bonus. For the price and quality so far I'm very happy with mine and you'll love yours too!

Lasted 2 yrs
So I bought this in Nov 2021, it is now Feb 2024 and it is no longer working. It’s had a good run and did well heating my 20g tank consistently for the time being. Issues I’ve had with this were; numbers on dial were never accurate, so I’ve always had to have a thermometer in the tank to help me. I opted for a regular thermometer and not a battery operated one bc I need to know my real time temp as this tank is my hospital/quarantine tank. The suction cups from the beginning were very difficult to get on and it was frustrating but we got them on. The first few months it held onto the glass alright but then never did stay on there after that. It looks good at first until algae starts to build up on that nice looking cage and it’s so much more visible….the space between the cage and the glass is just enough for smaller fish to hang out, there’s been several times I’ve wondered if a fish got stuck back there and had to reach my hand in there and make sure the fish got out of there. My fluval heaters I have on my main tank have lasted me well beyond what this heater has, I bought them before this one. Spend the extra on a better heater folks. I just ordered a new fluval heater for this tank. Will not purchase this heater in the future.

Works well
I am using in a 110 gallon livestock water tub as an indoor winter holding tub for my large red eared slider. It has been working great with the water temp but it won't stick to the side, probably due to texture of rub but I'm making it work. I have attached the cord to the side of tub so it hangs right against the side.

Pretty Good
The heater turns off once it reaches the temperature. The side of the product to twist is a bit difficult to turn up the temp, inside a 55 gallon tank but it still works well. The packaging is very nice and magnetic close. I'm not sure how they want the somewhat short cable to water drop position, but I zip tied it to that image position. Looms good for now.

What voltage is it?
I assume that this unit is a 110 volt unit which is ok, except for when you are in Australia and we have 240 volts. Luckily I have a down step transformer to 110v and yes it works ok, but a bit more detail into what voltage the actual unit is would have been appreciated.

Great turtle heater! Awsome design.
Really love this turtle heater. Some reason mine kept breaking. I lime how I can have the heater diagonal on the ground and it always it submerged. Cord a weeeee bit to short. But I like the design of it way more than regular aquarium heaters. It also has a great safety cover so the turtles can't get hurt. I will post another review in few months. Great value for the money too. Just a perfect turtle heater.

Great features.
This is a very good aquarium heater that seems to be indestructible. I am using it in a turtle tank right now and have had absolutely no issues with it so far, and turtles tend to be rough on anything in their environment. Easy to see temperature readout and easy to set. Also has the auto shut off feature if it is not in the water. Also a good size for the wattage rating.
