Worth every penny.
I absolutely love this! I just got it today so I'm sure there'll be an update later on.I've built several of these types of organizers over the year and I have to say this one was SUPER easy! I have serious back problems that have been known to take away my ability to walk. That said, this unit took 30 minutes to build, even with a few breaks to rest my back.A potential draw back, even though it feels sturdy, since there's no back panel (like I thought there was) the whole thing rocks slightly. I wouldn't advise anyone to rough house to close to it because one solid shove could spell disaster. The lack of back support is why I removed a star. Later on, I think I'll purchase those "L' shaped metal braces and install them in a few cubes to stabilize this a bit more.Okay so I needed to update my review for this product. As much as I loved it I found out the hard way that it is made out of particle board. Because my upstairs neighbor lost his water heater, my apartment became an indoor swimming pool. This is how I learned just how easy it is to destroy a very nice set of shelves. These shelves survived pets and kids for over a year with almost no wear and tear to be found. The only way you would tell that kids were near it, was by the Charming scratches my kid put in there with a set of keys. The amount of water that the bookshelf was sitting in is less than half an inch deep. That water was sucked up and ride off within the hour. By that afternoon, the part of the shelf that hit the floor was already swollen. The very next morning, I had this cute little green fuzzy stuff peeking out of the separated particle board. I ended up trashing the unit because there was no telling just how far that mold had spread. I still love the unit, and I will be replacing it soon, but I think it's critical that everyone be aware just how easily damaged these shelves can become with a smallest amount of water. I'm going to install casters up underneath it, so that the whole unit stands at least 2 in above the ground.

Great book case
Great book case. Sturdy. Not too difficult to assemble. Great value for the price. I bought 4 for a design studio. They needed to look nicer than the other cube units and they do. They are a great size for th money. One did come in about half inch bigger than others which looks off so know that there may be size issues. The interior dimensions are big enough for a binder unlike other cube units.

Finally found a storage cubicle that doesn't look like it will fall down!
I shopped for this type of cube organizer locally at big box stores, and most of them did not seem very stable or durable. Based on other reviews, and the reputation of the BH&G name, I thought I'd take a shot at this one. Mind you, it's still a put-together-yourself piece of furniture, but of comparable items, this is a much better quality cube organizer.Pros1) There were options to get this in a variety of 4, 6, 9 and 12 cube configurations. I'd not seen the 12 cube option before.2) There are a variety of finishes available (I purchased the white)3) The shelves are about 1/2" thick.4) The shelves work with 13" cube storage bins you can find anywhere.5) Assembly is relatively easy - one person can do it, but probably would go faster with two. It's heavy to pick up when fully assembled, so be careful.Cons -1) This sucker is heavy - about 100 lbs. I happened to have some carpenters working at my house when the package was delivered, who were kind enough to help bring it into the house.2) The finish is relatively thin (I knew that up front) and easily scratchable - be sure to work on a soft surface like a carpet or blanket while assembling.

Amazing TV stand & toy storage
Awesome TV stand and great for toy storage. It is sturdy but I can tell if I continue to rearrange and move it a lot it gets a slight wobbly (when moving, move from the bottom, not pushing the sides..seems to work better/less wobbly) But that’s with anything that’s not a solid piece of wood. It’s best to use the soft organizer bins instead of plastic. It will leave marks from constantly pulling the plastic bins in and out, which is normal wear and tear. Also, I didn’t stack the shelves the same direction so the metal screws show. The long white pieces of wood should be facing the same way when installed so the screws don’t show (not sure if it was in the directions) but I was too excited to put it together so I didn’t thoroughly read and double check before assembling, my mistake. Now that it’s assembled, I don’t want to take it apart to put it the same way. Took about 45 minutes to put together (I’m terrible with directions tho). Overall a great buy and highly functional. I would buy again.
