I bought this because it looked so much fun. And it is so much fun . It gave me the feeling that it wouldn’t be sturdy, when I first put together. It’s safe, sturdy, ease to set up, and comfortable.

So, I just recently moved from an NYC apt to a house with a porch...and at first I got some rocking chairs with cushioned seats, and they're fine for an hour or so; but if you're like me and want to enjoy your outdoor spaces with a good book in comfort for HOURS, the cushioned rocking chair wasn't cutting it. I always liked the *idea* of a hanging swing seat, and at this price, I thought, why not? Let me tell you, it is now my favorite part of my house. I feel like I'm in the womb when I'm in there!!!! Especially if you pull your feet up inside, it's like a kind of sensory therapy; like a weighted blanket that's compressing you from underneath (not in a constricting way-- in a cradling way). It just feels incredible. I get in there with a book and the hours just FLY by. I'll probably end up sleeping in it at some point. I can't believe how much happiness I'm getting from something that was, relatively speaking, so cheap!!!!It's definitely very sturdy-- I weigh 250 lbs & it's bolted to the roof of my porch (and my house was built in 1888!), and it doesn't shudder or creak or anything. It feels extremely solid. I've only had it a week, but already everyone who's come over & sat in it wants one. If you're on the fence, don't hesitate. GET IT.

Finally a hammock big enough and comfortable.

I love this hammock chair so much! It is perfect to reading and relaxing outside.The company was very generous as well. The one that I purchased came with a chain that I was unable to use to hang from the balcony above me. I contacted them to ask for a strap so that I could make it work. They sent me a strap quickly so that I could assembly it with the set up that I have.

I bought this to replace a hammock chair that had a bamboo bar: it was on its second season, and one day when a guest sat in it, it snapped and dropped my guest on the ground! The guest was well within stated weight limits, I think the bamboo bar just deteriorated and split.So I searched for one with a metal bar and found this: it's not a string net chair like my old one, which concerned me for moisture/mildew purposes, but it's lasted all summer with not a speck of mildew on it, and it seems to dry very quickly. it's very comfortable and sturdy!It was easy to assemble, I already had the hammock chair stand and just hooked it up.I did take off one star as it did start to rust around the edges of the metal: I just spray painted the bar with black Rustoleum spray paint and now I think it will last a very long time!

Hammock chairs are the greatest addition to patio seating that I have ever found! These chairs are the most relaxing, comfortable things I have ever sat in. They are made of good quality fabric that doesn't fray or tear under the weight they are designed for. I have 6 of my deck now and everyone loves the feeling of them. It is so soothing to get into one and just let the gentle motion take you into wherever your mind wants to wander. To me, it's the closest thing to being rocked in your mother's arms that an adult can experience. I have spinal issues that cause a lot of pain for me at times. Lying in the hammock chair rather than sitting in a conventional lawn chair actually helps relieve my lower back pain. I will never sit in another lawn or deck chair again as long as I have these beauties. Try them yourself and experience the magic of hammock chairs. You will LOVE IT!!!

I love these hammock swings and have several of them for the grandkids and me. They are comfortable and easy to hang. This brand comes with the hardware you need to hang the swing unless it has to be suspended from a high branch. I have one hung from a high branch so I picked up an appropriate strap at a hardware store. Most of mine are hung under a pergola and I use ubolts so I don’t even use the included hardware. This size is plenty roomy for most adults, I’m about 190, and it is rated up to 450 or 500.

We hung these on our screened in porch . They are fun . Seems to be sturdy . My adult children really like them and even the dog wants to sit in my lap . My son says it’s more comfortable than his bed and sleeps outside in it some nights .had I known that I would have bought one years ago . Now at 930 we lock up and go to bed and I don’t worry about the children . If you forgot your key , oh well sleep in the chair .
