If think you only need 1or 2 rollers ,think again. As I started to replace them it became apparent that all of the rollers could use replacing so I am glad I bought this set of 10. Used on very heavy wood double garage door, heavy duty rollers. I researched different types and decided that metal with internal bearings was best for my application - which was what was there before. I thought about using nylon to get a quieter door, but after reading online thought best to use metal. I ended up replacing all 10 and even though metal it is so much quieter than before, didn’t realize how bad the old ones were. Would definitely recommend. Used You tube video for installation info. My application required removing each hinge bracket. Replaced old square nuts with hex nuts so I could use a socket wrench. To take off old square nuts had to use a crescent wrench, PIA! Make sure to accurately measure the length you need before ordering.

After looking at all the different rollers they had on the market I thought I would try these out as they are very fairly priced. After receiving them they feel really solid and were easy to install. I had older nylon rollers and these are not nearly as loud as the older one that they were replaced by. I would recommend these to other people that were in the market for garage rollers.

It took me a couple of tries and multiple YouTube tutorials but I managed to replace all the rollers. These ones came pre lubricated with grease and are ready to go out of the box. I saw some review knocking these rollers saying they do not spin freely. IMO, while it may feel good to have the rollers keep spinning for a while when you flick it with your thumb, free spinning rollers may actually be not appropriate for the load that these rollers operate under.

I replaced 30 year old rollers. It looks like those new ones are of a much higher quality than the ones before, even when those were new.
