The quality thermocoupler in my furnace when I bought my house burned out a couple of years ago and the replacements from Home Depot and Lowes have only lasted a year or less. From what I've read this is the real deal. When my Honeywell thermocoupler goes this one will take its place and hopefully provide years not just months of service.
