Looks neat but doesn't work
Gave 2 stars as they look neat on the wall but they do not soundproof at all

Aesthetically pleasing
I have high density foam around my studio so my needs weren't to rely on these Hex panels solely for my sound dampening needs. But as you can see from my pic, it adds to the overall decor and function.

Aesthetically pleasing, but not super sound absorbent
I bought these for my new student apartment because I play guitar and didn’t want to bother my roommates too much. I really like how they look and they fill an empty wall really well, however they’re only a tad bit effective. If you’re wanting a paneling to use in a recording studio, I would not recommend these guys.Next, I’d recommend Command Strips to hang these panels. Specifically the velcro kind. That way you can avoid putting holes in your walls with nails or tearing the paint off with tape. The panels are really light-weight and have never fallen off the wall. All in all, I still really like the panels for the decor and some practicality.

Know what you are getting, If so these are great!
Its not completely sound proofing, more of a design art and room conditioning. It dampens the echos a great deal and makes a room sound better, but sound will still be hear outside of the room. It does limit how much sound will be heard from afar, but not to soundproofing levels. To actually sound proof a room would cost a ton of money and major construction, so this is a good looking alternative.
