SpeckProducts Candyshell Grip Cell Phone Case for Moto Z Play, Quartz Pink/River Blue, 85756-C085

This is the 3rd case I've bought for my Moto Z Play. There don't seem to be a lot of good options for this phone and I am not a person who can get away with no case on my phone, so I've been trying them all out. This one is far superior to the cheaper ones I had purchased. The pink part is a hard, slick plastic and the blueish part is a grippier silicone type. The case still slides easily in and out of a pocket with this case, which is good since the phone itself is so big it's hard to get it in some pockets. The side buttons are easy to push and the openings for your power and headphones leave ample space for plug ins. There is a good size lip on the face of the case to protect your screen, and I like that they've covered the mod port since I don't think there are any mods that can go on the phone with a case on anyway, it makes sense to protect the connections. Overall I wish I would have found this case first and just bought it rather than spending the money on the other ones.

The rubber bits on this case start looking dirty really quick. Maybe on a darker color it wouldn't be as noticeable, but the mint green is starting to look like a dull grey. Dirt easily gets caught between the lines on the back, too.Also, you can't practically use a popsocket or ring stand because of the rubber. The rubber makes it easy to grip, yes, but my little hands still gets tired when I try to use my giant phone one-handed, so I need one. You can stick one at the very bottom, where its functionally useless, or use a razor blade to slice some rubber off near the center like I did (use a pencil to trace the outline of the stand first since it'll draw on the rubber just fine but won't stain it forever like a sharpie).No major drops yet, but this thing definitely feels sturdier than the cheapo $10 cases I normally buy. It's raised up quite a bit around the screen so it won't get scratched. There's less of a lip around the camera, but the rubber keeps the entire case raised up when it's set down on its back, so I think it's fine.

I have had several Spec cases for my phones and up until I got this one, I have loved everything about them. For some reason, this one doesn't fit right. I got one for my Moto Z Play 2 but the buttons are not right. It keeps holding them down and wanting to shut off the phone Finally I got a razor blade and cut out the on/ off button and it quit doing the on/off thing but the volume buttons don't quite work either. Need an Exacto knife to cut those out and then I think it would be ok. The colors are always great and the grip is perfect! Got one for my Apple 11. Hate the phone but love the case! Also using my Moto and hope and I can get the case to fit right with a little adjustment.

I love this case so much when I wore my first one put after nearly three years, I ordered the exact same one again! It offers amazing protection for a thin case. I have had the same phone/case for over three years and have dropped my phone more times than I like to admit. My screen has never cracked and I have one minor crack on the back of my Moto Z Play which has not affected phone operation at all. I love the slim design of this case which allows my to comfortably carry my phone in my pants pocket or outside pocket of my purse. The case has grippable ridges on it and I think is very stylish. If I needed another case today I would not hesitate to purchase this for a third time!

I needed a better, more "grippy" case for my Moto Z2 Play phone but was having trouble finding what I wanted.I stopped into a Verizon store to find out what they might have, steeling myself to have to pay WAY more. We tried this style/model of case in the store and it fit perfectly. I came back to Amazon and found this case. Fits perfectly on the Z2 Play and has the "grippiness" that I wanted, all for a fraction of the cost. Total satisfaction. Yay.

At first, I was hesitant to order this case because it seemed a little pricey, but now I realize it's definitely worth it! This phone case is amazing. I'm really clumsy, so I drop my phone a lot, and it has managed to survive with no problems at all. Over the weekend, I went to the McCormick Place in Chicago for an event. I was walking down the stairs and I accidentally dropped my phone. It fell down two flights of stairs and was totally fine because of this case! It literally bounced down the stairs and landed safely at the bottom. This is a great material to make a case out of. I would definitely recommend. It isn't bulky like some other cases are for this phone. I've had this case for months now and it's doing a great job. Overall, I think it's a great buy. ☺️

A case that finally fits my phone. I had to stretch it out near the powder button because it kept turning it off but after a quick little strech good to go. I can charge it no probs and the grips on the back are nice. No slipping and falling on the ground YEAH! Thanks for having my phone covered very happy in deed ,😎😁

What I like is the looks of the case, the nice grip of the case and how it has protected my phone the several times I've already dropped it. What I hate about it is I can't put it in my pocket without my phone opening up a bunch of apps because it is so easy to bump everything. Now if I didn't put it in my pocket and just laid it on a table, I would say it is 5*.

You get what you pay for. Very well made, plenty of grip and very nice elegant case. Protects the phone as good as the best cases out there or better. I bought the pink one for my wife and she flipped out how nice it is, and that it's not slippery. I was so impressed by this case, that I bought the black version for myself to protect the Moto Z Play. Highly recommend it, but expensive compared to some other brands, but very few make a complete case such as this one.

Muy cómodo, pensé que sería muy grueso o tosco pero no es así, es muy cómodo y efectivamente no se resbala para nada. Además que se ve muy bonito. Lo compré para mi suegra que tiene manos pequeñas y aun así le funciona perfecto. Muy recomendable

Product exactly as expected. Very good quality, sturdy and fits snuggly on my phone. Buttons perfectly aligned. Turquoise lines offer grip.

Good case so far, nice colors,protective lip all around and good grip. Ordered one more (different color on sale)for later on. You get what you pay for.

Came quick, and love it. The grips help a lot when I'm holding my phone, no need to worry about slipping out of my hand! Useful when I place my phone on uneven surfaces and grips the surface well.
