It is a cheap corset made with cheap materials, you get what you pay for.

I haven't opened up the seams, but the front hook/eye area is metal. The other "bones" are plastic from what I can tell. They bend and shape too easily to be metal (meaning they don't keep the same shape laying flat vs on the body)

Q: Im 5'7 and 175 pounds what would be the best size to get?

I'm 5'8" 154lbs 34D and I got a medium. It for perfect. Depending on your busy size, I would probably say a Large would be good.

I would suggest a small. I'm a 34 d but weigh 154 and a medium was perfect for me.
