Perfect for mounting your radar detector over the frits near your mirror.
I don’t understand all the negative reviews. These things work perfectly. You cut them to fit or you can use the precut circular ones. They seem to be made out of the same tacky stuff that credit card providers use to stick their credit cards to paper. Basically, it is a thin flexible very sticky membrane sandwiched between two thin pieces of hard plastic. Your option is to peel one or both of the sides away from the membrane. Once you do that, anything and everything will stick to it. I usually only take one side off, sticking the soft side to the windshield, for instance, over the frits near the mirror. I then mount my radar detector by sticking the suction cups to the other side. I once peeled both sides off and it was definitely a chore to remove the detector.Like I said, I don’t understand the negative reviews. I don’t understand at all how these things can NOT work. People just need to read the instructions.

Works fine for one-time use.
I have some RAM suction cup mounts that have become scratched on the sealing surface and no longer reliably hold. I have used cell phone holders that utilize a sticky cup surface successfully and was hoping that this would accomplish a similar result on the damaged RAM cups. When installed they worked great. Secure and stable grip. The problem comes when trying to remove the cup. It didn't want to let go. By the time I got everything removed from the window the product was stretched and wadded. Washing the "sticky" in water and letting it dry made it usable again but it was still stretched. I will try it again with a release coating like Vaseline on the side opposite the suction cup. If you intend to leave the cup on one surface for a long time it should serve you well.

... suction cup attchments and the glue does not seem like it will be much mess in years to come
Just what I ndded becauuse my bathroom had some suction cups that were not working without these glue it to it type suction cup attchments and the glue does not seem like it will be much mess in years to come. These are just the right type of glue papers on both sides that you cut into circles to fit any suction cups you might have that are meant to stick to shower and tub type surfaces and more- Its stickum where suction was supposed to be the case and they work pretty dang well- no problems to report.

Ok, if you're looking for the very sticky stuff that comes on the edging of certain suction cups (like my Magellan 7" GPS mount - unit very heavy with long - arm mount), this is THE stuff! It completely seals the edge when trying to create a vaccum with the suction cup lever on relatively rough patterned plastics like dashboards. Comes with round pattern circles to make it easy to just cut out a 3/8 inch ring and fasten to the bottom of the cup. One side seemed to be slightly stickier than the other (put this stickiest side against the cup). GPS mount works like new again and saved buying an entire new mount. Comes off easily when changing gps mount to the other car.

Great for many uses - but perhaps not all.
Initially Suction Cup Buddy was just super for mounting a grab bar in a shower stall. The grab bar worked perfectly for 60 days or so. But recently it came loose - perhaps because of constant pulling on the grab bar itself. I will use Suction Cup Buddy again where appropriate - but not on anything subject to heavy body weight.

Great product
I have a GPS holder on the dash of my car and the suction cup grip started to fail so I bought this to see if it would work. EXCELLENT adhesion and grip and I do not have to worry about the whole thing falling off the dash any more :)

I would give it 5 stars, but it melt on an extremely hot day.
If you live in an extremely hot place, beware.

Works!
Works well!Just make sure you don't paste it on a side window, and try to open the window. It might pass the rubber seals, and get stuck in the door!
