Check out the picture. Added this capability to my 2013 F-150 stereo mod. Wife's car had it why not mine!! I ended up connecting the USB internally and was even able to keep the light visible. I was pleasantly surprised to see my phone charging sideways on the pad as well as multiple other angles. I no longer have a dash phone holder. I throw my iPhone 10 on this and let my wireless AirPlay through the JVC work as advertised. Love it, no wires anywhere! Almost a month down a zero complaints.

My new vehicle had a place for a charger, but the model I chose did not have the charger included. This fit very well within that space, and other than the power cable, it is a pretty seamless fix to it not being built in to the vehicle. It stays in place, my phone does not slide around and it stays where I put it. It is not the fastest charger, but when your battery is low, it's easy to just drop it on to the charger and get it charged. Very happy with this charger.
