When at the center of the room it does highlight the entire room depending on size
Only certain spaces cover...if is too big of a room..one is not enough to look like the picture but have a good portion to cover the place. At least u have the bluetooth to any music u like just do not expect to hear it clearly in other rooms when u have it in the living room or kitchen or whenever in the house. Love the control remote the only inconvinience is that it must face directly at the light to change lighting..but is really cool to ve able to control the colors red, blue, white and green, you can also leave the waves or the dots or both. It does seems magical.

What more could you want? A great little remote, many color patterns, and bluetooth. Love this!I bought an adapter so I could plug in to electric outlet.
