They are well made and strong
Tough, well made, and if mounted correctly will hold far more weight than you might imagine or need. I haven't yet done it, but these could easily hold some heavier tools in a garage if you were so inclined...so a robe or piece of clothes is nothing for these hooks. It's more limited by the mounting surface and the screws you use than its structure.

I got these to put on the inner side of my closet door and bathroom door. My bathrobe hangs easily onto these hooks which are sturdy and smooth finished - no snags. Great buy.

The hooks aren’t very deep and don’t hold a full size bath towel well

They're OK
They're sturdy; just not that big. I thought we could hang two towels on them by the shower but the towels just fall off because they don't come out that far from the wall. I did use them in the main walk-in closet for nightware, camis, etc.
