Does not work on VCR
I bought this for my VCR and smart TV but it didn't work. It does work on the DVD player. For VCR you will need a RCA to HDMI converter box, not this HDMI to RCA cable.

Don’t do it!
Does not work between a simple DVD player and Samsung TV. TV does not even recognize the HDMI cord is plugged in.

Incorrect part
I ordered this part to hook up my DVD player to the TV but it did not work. It's my ignorance because I didn't know exactly what I needed. So I just went and switched my TV and bought a different one now it will work.

Didn’t work for my player/tv
Unfortunately these didn’t work at all. I tried multiple ports to no avail. Company sent replacement but they still didn’t work. Maybe the player is just too old, but I think they should have worked. No problems returning for refund though.
