The only complaint I have is that many have said this makes their face oily, and I have dry skin. When I first put it on, I did so without moisturizer, because I took it out of the box and wanted to see the color match. I needed to moisturize first. For the reviewers that said the makeup is too heavy, you are putting it on way to thick. Makeup should enhance, not make us look like a completely different person. I have freckles, even nearing 60 years of age, and I applied this in a think coat, allowing a hint of my freckles to peak through. I LOVE THIS FOUNDATION and I will be getting more! I will bypass the beauty of the packaging and the bottle, as many have rightfully commented on that.

This foundation is not for people with dry skin. The packaging is so pretty on this foundation. It made me instantly excited to try it. It applied easily and the color was a good match, but it didn't matter how much I prepped and hydrated my skin it made look so dry. I already have dry skin and this did not help at all. I think if it wasn't for that, it would have been a beautiful foundation. It was full coverage and easily buildable and still felt light weight.

I ordered this foundation in the shade #03 Natural and it came in a very unique packaging as a foundation. The foundation was a bit lighter in person than what you see in the swatch pictures so you may need to consider that when you are choosing your perfect shade. The texture is heavy creamy and a little bit dry so just a small amount of it would be enough for entire face and neck to apply. I personally have dry skin and this heavy foundation looks a little cakey on my skin although I have tried different ways to blend it so if you have dry skin you may need to consider that as well. It has semi matte finish with a full coverage which is really nice so I think it will be a good idea for people who have normal to oily skin.

It just blends in with the skin like a lotion instead of sitting on your skin like a paste or plastic.

If you like a thick, matte coverage foundation, this ones for you! It looks like stage makeup, very false looking.

It goes on smoothly, light weight and doesn't seem like I am wearing makeup.

I buy a lot of high end and luxury makeup, what can I say I have expensive taste! To be completely honest I didn’t have much hope for this Palace Identity foundation. I can be quite picky with my foundation, and I have found that the majority of the time when brands like this have beautiful packaging it’s because the product is just meh. But I am happy to say that this is not the case at all with this foundation! The colors are obviously not all inclusive, I have pale NW15-20 skin and Thus far it looks like there shade range is pale, fair, and light and leans neutral to cool toned. Perfect for me, but obviously not something for everybody, not even close! But the foundation is absolutely beautiful! I have combination skin that can get quite oily in my t zone but super dry and flaky every where else. And this foundation did not cling to dry patches, and it also did not break down in my oily areas. It has a semi matte finish, more skin like matte in my opinion. It did not settle into any of my fine lines at all either. It was super easy to work with using either a brush or a sponge. The coverage is a light-medium coverage that can be built up to a true medium coverage if needed. Honestly I’m really loving this foundation! It reminds me of Dior nude serum but not as drying as that one was on me. Another good comparison is Lancôme teint miracle just less dewy. I would totally buy this in the future and 100% recommend it if of course you can find a shade match. Plus there is the absolutely gorgeous packaging that doesn’t look tacky or cheap somehow, which was another thing that surprised me.
