IMPRESIONANTE

So far, so good.
Having the WF-1000XM3, I understood that the SP800N would take some time to fit right.Once I got the right fit I found the sound to be the same as the 1000XM3, it's not LDAC, so no good for Tidal Master, and therefore not much use linking to my FiiO M11 Pro. But what sound quality you do get is fine for exercise, and they play well with my Sony 10 II. I would liked a better range of ear tips, perhaps some memory form, the kind that came with the 1000XM3. It's possible that I might replace the tips but then, my hope would be that the SP800N would sit right in the charge case.At the moment the SP800N out do my Nuraloop for easy of use, yes the Loop is a much better sound, but with all the bugs in the software, and the need to have them placed in your ears "just right", makes the SP800N a quick pick up and go devise. I also like the 360 sound, which does kind of give them Nura sound feel.Noise cancelling is great. There is a large demolition/construction taking place across from my balcony where since lock down I have been doing a 90 mins three times a week resistance loop workout, and this morning with the noise cancelling on, there was no demolition noise.Unlike the 1000XM3 the SP800 stay in my ears much better due to the ear hooks, and that you do not have to have them at horizontal level. I found that with the horizontal placement of the 1000XM3 I kept knocking them out of my ears.Of course, I have not taken them for a run, nor tried the much less reliable connection to my Fenix 6 Pro, that's the real test - will they connect, stay connected and will it sound like I am running in a wind tunnel. That test will be tomorrow.Where I might keep the 5 Stars, drop a star or re-box them for a refund.Update -I have now run our doors with the SP800s for 30 miles, and on reflection I am keeping the 5 stars. There are issue with street/city running but then the issues are no different from any true wireless that I have used. I did find wind was a problem, but then wind is a problem on all the noise cancelling ear/headphones I have. The left side would not stay in my ear, but this could be due to my ear shape. I do think for out door running a better ear tip that can fit tight into the ear would have been helpful. There was some problems linking to my Fenix 6 Pro. During the GPS find and the Foot Pod find, there was drop out of the SP800 connection. Which did stop once connections were made. The sound when connect to my Fenix 6 Pro was great. What I did not experience is any foot fall noise with the SP800, this can be like hearing your foot fall in your head; once there was no wind, all I had was music.Having now used the SP800s for static exercise and road pounding exercise. I find the SP800s great when away from nature, clear sound and strong connection, once outside nature can get in the way of the music, and they are not as stable as they could be in the ear, and this for some might mean looking else where for true wireless while running. For me they are a keeper, I like the 360 sound, enjoyed the over use of 360 sound on bat out of hell, and the more subtle use on take five. Noise cancelling is okay, battery life is not a worry, and as long as I do not hit the road hard then they do not fall out.
