We purchased this to help filter our 1,150sq ft home and it works wonders. I was waking up daily with a runny nose and uncontrollable sneezing from allergies. The day we plugged in the filter was the day it stopped, and that’s no coincidence!!! We keep our house incredibly clean, but the pet dander from our husky, even the smallest amount of dust and the outside pollen would ruin my sinuses. We ran it on high initially to get it circulating and now run it intermittently through the day and I am a new human. I am still in shock tbh.The people who say it smells or is loud did not read the directions - the filter comes wrapped in plastic and you need to remove it. If you don’t it will be incredibly loud and can obviously be dangerous. The one review about it not filtering the onions is obnoxious to say the least 😂. He’s expecting the work of a $5,000 industrial air filter to do the work of this unit. Even in a professional kitchen You Will Smell the Onions… that is the nature of the beast. Don’t like it, don’t eat them, and surely don’t take out your anger, or lack of understanding, on an air filter. It sounds like an unkempt space that needs proper cleaning by a human before an air filter would even come close to making a difference. Scrub your walls, wash your baseboards, clean your windows, remove your nasty old carpets and THEN something like this would work in a Clean Home. An air filter is not a maid service.For reference - Our house is very open with high ceilings & we hardly have any doors shut. We do not have carpet, only a few area rugs. I believe these things do impact the ability of the product to completely circulate the air. We keep it in a corner of the living / dining room and it works perfectly. There are several speeds to choose from. Sleep mode is incredibly quiet, and having a timer option is fantastic.HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS IF YOU ARE NOT KAREN.

I have spent quite a bit of money over the years on expensive air purifiers. Since moving, I decided to replace my older and heavier model with a more streamlined unit. I bought this air purifier not just because of the price but because the reviews were impressive. I immediately plugged it in and it's not stopped yet! I have it on 24 hr. mode which works great. I live in a 1300 sq. foot home since downsizing and I've seen a dramatic reduction in dust since it's operation. I will be purchasing a second unit soon to operate in the smaller moreclosed off back rooms soon. I found the filter lasted an easy 2.5 months but will change them in 8 weeks max. My favorite thing is the relaxing sound it emits, it's like small waves at the shoreline, puts me rightto sleep at night! Try it, you'll be pleased!

Perhaps you are a stoner in a new apartment and you ask yourself prior to buying an air purifying device - "self, will this thing reduce the smell of weed or possibly eliminate it?" Or similarly "Good enough my neighbor won't complain or ask for a hit?" 🤔Well - I'm here to help friend. So yeah it kind of works for weed smell but it isn't ideal. I find I still need a "mask" product when partaking in my studio. The vents connect man - my neighbor had blueberry muffins and bacon. I could smell it. So while I have not had complaints, I wouldn't be able to recco this as a weed scent inhibitor- it helps somewhat but won't eliminate. I held my face up to the outflow and still smelled weed. And no - it wasnt coming from the blunt. I strategically held my breathe from the bathroom to the purifier. So yeah.Hope that's helps you make a sound decision.This is good for like general cooking smells and helps prevent small space staleness. It's not powerful enough for my proclivities.

For many months, I have been experiencing bad allergies due to wind and my cats. I’ve noticed lots of dust particles floating around my room and figured it was time for a good air purifier.This air purifier has removed a fair amount of dust from my air. The filters are consistently filling up with cat, dander and generic dust. I have also confirmed that the air quality sensor does work properly.I have been running the purifier 24/7 for well over a month now and I’ve noticed a big difference in my air quality.

This thing works great. Super easy to set up and it has like 5 different modes. There's sleep, 1, 2, and 3 fan settings and then one that is I think automatic like a motion sensor or something. I have it on the highest fan setting and it's still not overly loud so it's not annoying like other air purifiers that I have.

So my household is a mini zoo. We have a dog, a cat and three rats and with a recent addition of a rescue cockatoo.. some other pets come and go when they need me.. so needless to say the air quality (especially the living room) is garbage. On top of that I have asthma and suffer terrible allergies. I needed something safe for the birdo most importantly, and exotic bird dust is no joke!!I received the package, removed the filter from the plastic and off it went. Within about two hours I noticed a HUGE difference. I stopped sneezing and could take a big deep breath! Usually I have ceiling fans and air conditioners running to make it bearable but this air purifier really did my house wonders in so little time !! I couldn’t afford the big name big dollar ones that are highly recommended so I landed on this one and after day one I am not disappointed. It is not noisy at all and is a good size. my living room is about 20x20 ft. If you need an air purifier and are limited by your budget I definitely suggest this one. I also see replacement filters are available for purchase which is a huge plus. (always check they are available before buying a purifier)So happy to breathe again and not have to worry about odors or my pets or about looking like the hunchback of notre dame with my puffy allergy face.

Grabbed one of these instead of adding filters to the forced air vents in my home. I heard vent filters can block airflow and are not overly beneficial to air quality in a home. Not to mention they trap the dirt in ducts too. I am glad I did get this air purifier!! It grabs that airborne dust and a good amount of pet hair that would otherwise settle as dust on furniture or create “dust bunnies” in corners. It is easy to use, easy to clean and the filters seem to last a descent amount of time. I like this so much I am considering one for other floors and rooms. Great product!

I bought this unit because my other air purifier of 3 years wouldn't turn on anymore (levoit lv-pur131) and the warranty was expired. I needed to replace it asap because of the smoke from the forest fires near my area and pollen and cat allergies. After looking at many air purifiers under $150 and reading a lot of reviews, i decided to give this AIRTOK air purifier a try. I am very happy i did! It is cheaper than my previous levoit purifier and is as much efficient to clear out allergens, smoke and odors, if not better. I want to point out that most of the bad reviews you'll see here are caused by either misuse or very unrealistic expectations for a +/- $140 unit. As for the covered area, they specify the following in the description: "covers 1100 ft² / 102 m² 1.2 times per hour, 492 ft² / 45.7 m² 2.5 times per hour, and 238 ft² / 22.1 m² 5 times per hour". Those measurements are based on open areas size, not a whole house with many room's size, and are important to consider in order to evaluate its effectiveness vs your needs, not only by looking at its max covered area and expecting that it will be as effective in a 1100 sq ft room as in a 200 sq ft one. Also, it doesn't smell at all (if you remove the plastic packaging covering the filter) and the noise level is very reasonable for each fan speeds. Read the full description before buying, and if you choose to buy it, read the instructions before your first use, have realistic expectations based on its specs and you'll be happy with it!

Nice and small so it does not take much space. Easy to use and very quiet. I have in bedroom and never turn it off.
