I needed rf transmission from TV to headphones.All works as anticipated with clarity and comfort

I bought these because my wife likes to have the TV volume at a level where I have to strain to hear every word. The sound quality is crisp with a good base response and very satisfying but the slight degree of latency means that if I can hear the sound from the TV as well as the sound through the headphones, there is a slight echo. It's not much and it's an awful lot better than it was when I was using a bluetooth setup before buying these phones. We have an oldish Sony TV and plugging the base unit into the earphone jack socket was simplicity itself. If you want to use these with an optical output you will need to buy some extra kit. It's a pity that the base set for these phones doesn't come with longer leads so that it can be positioned further away from the TV. I don't know whether it's coincidence, but since using these headphones the Wifi signal to our Fire stick has been a bit flaky. I would have liked to have been able to separate the Fire stick by a greater distance from the base unit as I suspect the 2.4GHz signal is interfering with the Wifi, but I note that other brands of wireless headphones also work on 2.4GHz so perhaps this is an inescapable problem. As for comfort, I have used more comfortable headphones, but they are tolerable. I have quite a large head so they are a bit on the tight side, but I guess this may improve with time. Overall, largely because of the sound quality, I don't regret my purchase and I'm certainly glad I didn't go for any of the more expensive phones.

IPurchased the above item and when I went to use the headphones to -day I find that the connection has broken in the socket of my t.v.I now am unable to use the headphones or listen to my t.v and this is my only form of entertainment what can I do .look forward to hearing from you.j guiney.

Got to say these headphones so far work better than my old ones which were always cutting out. I have found on occasion there are some weird swishing sounds which are a bit disconcerting, but this doesn't happen all of the time and overall the sound is good. It's important to make sure the phones are located correctly in the docking station and the green light is on whilst charging. I found I have to wiggle them about a bit to make sure the green light comes on. The range away from the tv is very good. I can walk through two other rooms with them on and still hear clearly. Overall not bad.

Firstly thank you to all who replied to my question on whether these just plugged straight into the TV with a jack, they do indeed so thanks again to those who replied. I missed the old Sony Infa Red headphones but times move on and my last pair were a Sennheiser RS 120. They were ok but the three settings and the fact you had to scroll the side wheel to find the sound were fidgety and if the wheel moved slightly you would have to readjust. So was looking for some that just plugged in to the TV via my TV's headphone port via jack, turn on and just the the volume wheel up and down with no fidgety settings to use. These thankfully fit the bill.So far I have given them 4 stars. The charging process is a bit fidgety trying to get the link right but that will come. To start with I thought the sound has a bit of echo but I think that is the fact the sound is crisper than my old ones which in comparison the sound was a bit flat. I'd rather have a disc/wheel than volume up and down buttons but again will get used to it, and at the moment the ear covers feel a bit odd but that's because I have worn foam ones for the last few years, again I will get used to it. So at least I have the main thing, plug in and away you go. If you haven't got a headphone port on the TV I wouldn't know how to attach but they do come with a red and yellow jack for I assume the ports at the back of TV's. Decent buy.
