Such a good read. On the edge of my seat for poor Sara.Poor Alec not knowing where to turn to even try to find her.Lots of things going on for sure.First book was a great read as well.Thank You

I choose this rating because I was looking for something new after just reading the 6 books if fifty shades. This story was too familiar, the plot to close, for me to enjoy incompletely.

I have become so enthralled with Alek and Sara that I wasn't able to put down this book. This is my first series by S. Nelson, but it definitely won't be the last! The ending certainly left me Shattered... on to the next book in the series!

The author did not disappoint once again in the second part of this intriguing saga. Sarah is a new flower boutique owner, Alek is a multimillionaire owner of several businesses. Sarah relocated to Seattle in an attempt to start over; she was kidnapped for 9 days by a deranged coworker. Sleek fell in love with Sarah from a distance after being asked by Sarah's grandmother who at the time was hospitalized in the same hospital as Alek's grandfather. He was mistakenly given the wrong room number Sarah's grandmother's number and when he entered was mistakenly taken to her dementia and illness for her deceased brother. She made him promise that he would take care of and protect Sarah to save her from any more danger or harm. He secretly watched and protected her hired bodyguards that she was totally unaware off. He did this for several years and fell in love with her from a distance and one day went into her store to order flowers for a sick friend. It was an instant mutual attraction from the beginning. Not only was he obsessed and infatuated with her but he was all also obsessed with her safety and surroundings. They had a beautiful love and very sexy relationship with lots of arguments however Sarah was very stubborn and unfortunately her captor was released from prison. How it went footboy to protect Sarah however Kafter came in search of her and was evil to take her away even with protection. Sleek was indeed shattered. Sarah's character in the second portion was aggravating sometimes immature. knowing what she had been through in the past she fought Alek every inch of the way to have her way and to go wild unprotected with friends. This book was filled with lots of steamy sex and suspense. I am about to read part three I am sure S. Nelson will not disappoint. Great, great read!!

Warning, review may contain spoilers.Right, book 2. So we find out what Sara's past is about and what Alec's past is about. Did make me wonder if I should bother with the second half of tgis book as I didn't see where it could go from there. The crazy caveman stuff continued and infuriated me to the point of stopping the book. How is forcing someone who doesn't want to speak to you into the back of a car and driving away so you can force her into your home so she has to speak to you romantic or appropriate?? Add in that this person was kidnapped and held for 9 days, a fact you are aware of and the result is inappropriate, lack of romance, overbearing, controlling person. Anyone who wishes a man would treat them the way Alex treats Sara needs their head checking!

Love this book I have no flaws with it whatsoever, everything had detail and let my imagination run wild with S Nelson writing. I love Sara and Alek and the tragic stories what happened to both of them left me wanting more as I finished the end of this book I was in panic I needed to know what happened next so I have just bought Wanted the third book to this trilogy cannot wait to start reading it.

The first story was ok but the writing had some faults, only bought the second to see how the cliffhanger from the first book was resolved. The story is a bit directionless and it feels like nothing really happens. The characters lack depth and tbh are just annoying. It just feels really lacking and the constant arguments between the characters are childish and ridiculous so are not believable. Can’t say I will be reading the third in the trilogy. Another book where the “dominant male” character is actually just perpetuating a toxic relationship and the female lead is a total bore.

What a great cliff hanger to leave it at. I know that he is overbearing and a control freak, but he genuinely loves her, and will do all within his power to rescue her. I have already downloaded the next one ready to start as soon as I have posted my review. I would totally recommend it to everyone.

amazing amazing !!! Wow what can i say i absolutely love this to Alek still been as ever the crazy caveman who wont take no for an answer Sara who still tries to get away on doing things by herself .such a great character she makes me laugh so much the women has sass 😂😂 .....but her past is coming back sooner than anyone expected but will Alek be truly able to save her in more ways than one
