I just started welding at college and I was using the school helmet while waiting for this one to arrive. The school helmets did not auto darken or were comfortable. I couldn’t see my welds with the school helmet. This helmet is comfortable, could see my welds, really nice auto darkening, and looks cool. I love this design and style not to mention that this helmet keeps your neck, face, and head safe from sparks unlike other helmets that everyone else in my class is using.

Ive been using it for about 2 weeks and i can honestly say that im very happy with this hood. My only slight issue is how fast i have to change the lens covers but not that big of a problem. Would highly recommend this hood before you spend 300+ on a “real” hood

I use this hood every day 12hrs a day and I've gotten severe welding burn on my face because of reflection on inside of hood.

I really liked how the helmet looked. The true color lens is interesting. The problem I have is the shape of the hood seemed to smoke up the curved lens so fast and to much. Much easier to maintain a regular large lens hood. It worked fine. I thought I would like the outside control for weld and grind, but with glove’s on you never can find it. Also I thought it would have a more panoramic view which it does not. It’s a good helmet for part time use, but if your going to use it for several hours at a time it did not work for me.

Good and affordable welding helmet. The cow is very clear. I occasionally weld as have a few trucks for a small business. Had a cheap Harbor Freight helmet and hated the clarity. This helmet is a lot better!

I purchased this helmet in 2021 for hobby use. I have used it a total of about 12 times. The headgear is broken, the cheap plastic straps stripped out inside the ratchet mechanism. The auto darkening panel likes to flash while welding. It’s real nice having the screen flash between shade and no shade while welding, the the weld flash is great. Yes, I changed the battery and it didn’t help. Really hoped for the money it was going to be a decent helmet but I will have to spend more money and buy a name brand helmet. Very disappointed.

Has been needed a new welding helmet and like the way this one looked got it here and he said it’s one of the best helmets he’s had
