This is a nice sword but it was purchased for a costume. We couldn't use it because it is metal.Do not buy it if you want it for a costume, cosplay, or to carry it around because it can still cause injury or damage and may not be legal in your area to have on your person in public.We end up using as cool wall art for his room.

It's very accurate to the game, though it has some issues in it's production quality. The little screws in the blade came sticking out so I had to hammer them in place, and the painted on title on the saya (scabbard) was slightly faded off and is also upside down. When you wear the sword on your back the title is upside down and when the sword is displayed in the proper traditional Japanese (grip to the left, blade facing up) the title is once again still upside down. There was also a slight crack in my saya but it's not noticeable. Out of the box it is somewhat sharp unlike a cosplay prop, but not sharp enough to cut through paper, I ended up sharpening and polishing it all myself. The weight is pretty hefty and it's definitely full tang and very sturdy, with some work this sword is actually perfect and functional!

This sword is awesome however I do have some grips about it 1st it is oddly dirty and has some black sort of dust on it 2nd the logo on mine is a bit scuffed in some spots 3rd IT IS SHARP (in some areas) and CAN cut paper so do be weary of that. Otherwise this sword is really cool and worth it since it's so cheap and actually looks like raidans sword. If you want a cool display sword that's sorta sharp and looks like cool then this is for you and I recommend it regardless of those issues.

It says right in the details "Anime props are specially designed for role-playing or collecting. The normal version of the sword is not heat-treated, so it is not sharp. Please choose according to your preferences" BUT IT IS SHARP! There is NO WAY you can bring this to a cosplay convention as you would most likely get arrested! Its a DANGEROUS WEAPON... NOT A COSPLAY SWORD! Should definitely NOT be listed as a cosplay item! Besides that its a nice sword but NOTHING like I was expecting! My husband had to file it down to make it safe for our teenage son.

I got Raiden's HF Blade with the wooden scabbard option. With only some minor nitpicking, the product arrived as advertised. I plan to use it as decoration, so it definitely checks all the boxes for that. If you wanted to use it for cosplay, this might be unsafe straight out of the box. There is a slight edge on the blade, not enough to cut cleanly through plastic or paper but enough to say it can hurt you if misused. However, like advertised, it's for cosplay-ish purposes.There's some minor chips on the tip of the blade itself (can't see unless you get really close/feel it with hands) so there is some fit and finish issues. The sword also arrived slightly bent to the right, but I was able to straighten it by placing the tip on a flat surface and pushing softly to the left (almost bouncing the blade). The sword also feels ever so slightly flimsy and the tip seems to slightly bend under its own weight whenever held with the flat down.The wooden scabbard looks nice, but isn't very tight/well fitted and the sword can fall out just due to its weight. The belt that came with it also seems a bit clumsy, but it works and holds the scabbard and sword. I'm not sure about the leather sheath option but that may hold it slight better.Overall, the product is good for its price and description. Just don't think you're getting a razor sharp, unbreakable sword that you can use for cutting practice.

It is very cool

This truly is a damn near flawless replica of Raiden's high frequency blade. The only thing it's missing is electricity spewing from the metal.
