this bed is just right...
ive been using this as my only bed for probably about 3 months now. i waited to post a review till i had some time to really try it out. the reason i purchased it is because i have a small living space, and needed something to sleep on that was comfortable for my back, but easily put out of the way so i could use the space for other things.firstly this is very comfortable. its not huge, but im just under 6' tall and medium build, and its just great for me.second, its very compact. the mattress slides through the legs and closes up, but i just fold it in half and place it up and down against the wall with the folded bed in front of it to hold it in place.third, its easy to set up and take down. the first couple times were a little odd since it was new, but now i fold it up in less time than it takes to make a bed. i do it every morning, and it leaves all that open space to use as needed.though it feels somewhat lightweight, the construction feels pretty sturdy. i just wouldnt try to get too acrobatic on it since it does have a weight limit.i was attracted to the lack of plastic parts. i cant stand nicely made metal devices that have important moving parts made out of plastic. its just a cheap and crappy way to make things. this bed is built well and the important moving parts are all metal. thank you ibed!!the springs seem to help a lot for comfort. they creak a tiny bit sometimes, but very little. the frame is surrounded by springs connected to metal rods that support a nylon mesh type material between them. havent noticed any problems after months of sleeping on it so i think it will hold up.so thats the story. great bed, im really glad i bought it. i slept on a futon for years, and i like this much more. so easy to move around i think its a keeper. would not hesitate at all to buy one again, though i dont think i will need to.MARCH 30 UPDATE:still sleeping on this every night, still super comfortable! have let some guests use it to sleep on here and there and they said that it is very comfortable as well. great bed!!!!

Sweet Dreams!
What a cool bed. I was hesitant to buy it at first but pleasantly surprised. Believe the positive reviews. If you want a guest bed that is easy to use and store, comfortable to sleep on and well worth the price, this is the bed to buy. I have been using a 5" thick twin tri-fold fabric covered foam 'mattress' that I would put on the floor for my guests. Now, with this iBed, I use the thin 2" mattress and top with the tri-fold ---although even without the top mattress, this is a sturdy and well designed 'cot' style bed because there are no slats or bars. The canvas material on the frame is sturdy and strong but a little slippy, so to keep the mattress from sliding I bought a package of 1" waistband elastic from the fabric store; measure tight and sew the ends then strap around each end. Works like a dream! I've taken several naps on it since I set it up and I can't wait for my guests to enjoy it. Storage should not be an issue. It folds up so compact, you can slide it behind the couch, a bookcase or under the bed. It even comes with a zip up slipcover. I would highly recommend this product that I purchased from Amazon.

Pros super easy to set up and take down folds and ...
Prossuper easy to set up and take downfolds and fits under bedlight weight but very well madeno bars running under bed to irritate back (is made like a trampoline with heavy duty grommets and ties, already assembled)packaged well (even though shipper spilled oil all over the box it shipped in, the cot was wrapped in plastic so no damage)excellent priceCons (although, I really consider these suggestions than cons)Could use a foam topper. Even though this really is more comfy than most alternatives. if you want a luxury sleep, I'd add a foam topper.I'd ad another 4" for those taller men. My son is 5'0" and fit fine, but my 6'4" son who doesn't fit on anything didn't fit on this either. Maybe and XL version? My son stays on this over holidays. It's very nice to be able to fold under bed and pretty comfy. He says its similar to an army cot at hunting camp. Not super lux but better than a hide a bed with that bar running down the middle. Very easy to set up and take down! If you want a bit of luxury it really would just require additional padding.I just took a twin sheet and pinned it on each end, stayed on well. I did look around and read allot of reviews. This is by far the best option I've found. Very reasonable pricing as well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for an inexpensive, comfortable cot for friends and relatives to stay on while visiting.
