Beautiful!
Heavy, sturdy, and practical!! It was brighter green and yellow than I wanted so I painted a thin layer of black, acrylic paint to tone it down. I use it to store the rings I wear most.

Worth it!
Bought this for my nephew's birthday and I was not disappointed. This hand looks fantastic. Worth the price in my opinion.

Neat! Had to do minor repair.
This is super cool!! I've been waiting a while to pull the trigger on getting this due to the previous price point. I really like it. It's going to be decorative and maybe hold some jewelry for me. However, I will say that the second I opened the thin interior box, I saw that the statue was only wrapped in bubble-wrap the pinkie finger snapped off. Not completely shattered - but still a bit disappointing. It looks like maybe it once had a foam inside padding, there are foam bits but no foam. That would probably have helped it not break. Nevertheless, it was a very clean break and I was able to super glue it back together. It looks immaculate now, but do know that you might be taking a chance on it arriving broken and need to either send it back the first time or be prepared to make a quick fix.

Green vs Brown
First picture is with flash, second is without. The look like the photo with flash in person.I got lucky and got one of each with two separate orders! Things2diefor sent the greener one. I thought I did not want the green looking one, but I prefer it like someone else mentioned! It does add more to the hand. The features are well defined and clear on that hand. The hand is also matte and heavier, more sturdy. The browner one looks more realistic to a degree, but it is shinier which I don't prefer. They are the same size, but the brown one seems to be skinner.I enjoy them. They creep out my family though.Got one for 32 and the other for 39. Ideally 32-35 for the price I think? Don't regret it and on person, it makes sense to pay more because it's sturdy.Edit: Here's another variation. Last 2, third purchase is from FUNOVELTYGIFTS. Got this one for 26!

Arrived broken, but gorgeous!
It was packaged super well, but came broken in two pieces nonetheless! Some superglue and you can barely tell it was broken, though I'm definitely reluctant to move it around much.Assuming the glue holds long term, otherwise a very lovely piece of decor! Well made, great detail, and a nice weight to it. If it wasn't apparently so fragile, it'd be absolutely perfect.

Please Help Me...
The hand was double-boxed and encased in form-fitted styrofoam, so it arrived at my doorstep perfectly intact. That was 5 days ago. I paid little attention to the markings on the palm, except to verify that the object was undamaged. I was busy with other household projects. I placed the hand on a shelf and forgot about it.At first the pain was faint, and I passed it off as the result of the housework I had been doing. On the second day, I had developed calluses on my right hand from working my tools without gloves. I am a college professor, and rarely use my hands for more than writing or turning pages, so it was no surprise that this kind of work, so unusual to me, had this effect. On the third day, I awoke to find that my right palm had grown stiff and dry, as if covered by a great callus. I knew I could no longer pass this off as the effect of my hammering and sawing. The doctor prescribed a medicated lotion that I applied diligently to my hand every hour. I wrapped my hand in a medicated wrap and went to bed.Yesterday I removed the wrap and found, to my horror, that my palm had split and cracked along the same lines so clearly delineated on the mummified palm I received in the mail. It was only then that I realized the horrible link between my hand and the one on my shelf. I spent the day researching skin diseases, palmistry, and curses. There is no known natural disease that explains what has happened, but I have found a "curse", written of in the journals of a 19th century anthropologist, Dr. Alan Quarter, who lived for a time among the bedouins of the Rub' al Khali. The tribe were known practitioners of chiromancy, or palm reading, and were reportedly respected and welcomed in the villages they visited for their prophecies and foretellings. Dr. Quarter reported that a young member of his nomadic group was caught stealing from a fruit stand in a village through which they regularly passed. The youth consequently had his right hand cut off by the local khalifa. When the youth returned to his camp, his severed hand in his good hand, the leader was furious and his people became "stone-faced and sober, walking about as one who wanders in sleep."That night, for the first time, the anthropologist was asked to leave the camp. When he pressed the leader for an explanation, he received only this as an answer: "Lines are not written into the human hand without reason. They emanate from heavenly influences and man's own individuality."Though he respected their wishes, Dr. Quarter remained hidden just beyond the boundaries of the bedouin camp, and watched through the night. He reported hearing unearthly moans that "seemed to emanate from the very depths of the earth" and the repeated phrase "fhtagn al Irem, al Irem khalif ha' alkha." This was not a language the learned anthropologist recognized. The following day, Dr. Quarter reports, the youth's hand had been "mysteriously hardened, as if calcified or petrified", though no more than one night had passed. The hand had been placed upon the wooden altar that occupied the center of the camp, and it had been "deeply etched with magical and alchemical symbols."When Dr. Quarter asked about the youth, the bedouin leader said only that "it is right and just that the punishment should fit the crime."Upon his journey home to the Americas, Dr. Quarter had the opportunity to visit the town in which the youth had lost his hand. He observed the local khalif and noted that his right hand appeared "withered and aged, as if mummified." It also had "strange markings that appeared to be carved or tattooed deeply in the skin," though he could not get close enough to determine if those markings matched the sigils carved into the youth's hand.Dr. Quarter never mentioned any way to remove this "curse".Today, the marks on my own hand clearly reflect those of the mummified hand I received in the mail. There is no doubt that there is a connection between my hand and the one that sits upon my shelf. And whether there is any connection between myself and the Khalifa Dr. Quarter wrote of, I do not know.I only know that I wish I had never purchased this grotesque statue, and if anyone knows of a way to break this curse, please contact me at the email address below.Thank you for any assistance you may be able to give. All leads are most welcome.[email address removed by Amazon.com admin in accordance with section 15.b of Amazon.com user bylaws]

Talking Point
This arrived today and has already sparked conversation. It's a great talking point. The hand is a little creepy but I like that about it. The size is good and delivery was on time. My only complaint is that it is a green colour where it looked dark grey to black in the photos. That's why it's a 4*, not a 5*.

Decepcionada
La mano en si esta padre, pero llegó rota y el problema es que no se rompió en el camino, la mandaron rota, ya que no había ningún resto en el empaque para poderla reparar.
