Soft less heavy athletic socks
I rebought these because of their substantial but less heavy elasticity. They aren't as thick and elastic as regular socks. They feel comfortable and are elastic but not constrictive or too elastic.

Great Socks!
I buy these for my mother. She has a problem with swelling calves and ankles. These have been the best socks for her. They are not hard to get one, they stay pulled up all day and the elastic is very comfortable. These socks are not tight at all. They allow for her swelling. The socks are also very soft.

Love these socks!
I do not have diabetes. However, I am 75 and things change. I have bunions on my feet which makes life miserable at times. These socks are lightly supporting the whole foot and ankle without squeezing so much like the therapeutic socks do. Even walking in them barefoot makes my feet happier. Also the mesh-like open knit makes them nice to wear even in the heat of summer.

Awful socks.
Nothing. Too small and lint adheres.

Company has changed the product, but not the picture
I had been buying these socks for several years. I need the softness and stretch they HAD.They always came in "sleeve" as socks are usually found in department stores. They WERE all black, except for the "mediped" logo stitched into the socks. In fact, all Mediped products I have ever gotten (and I have had many) all hadthe Mediped logo stitched in.This was the classic Mediped type of socks. When the SIZE LARGE socks I just ordered arrived, they were in plastic bags that had MEDIPED printedon the bags, and the socks themselves ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.NO MEDIPED LOGO on these socks.Instead THERE ARE RED AND BLUE STRIPES around the toes.Without needing to try them on, it is plain to see that these are much moreconstricting in the legs, and the top band is much tighter. The weave/knit of the sock is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from what they shouldhave been.IN SHORT: THE COMPANY HAS CHANGED THE SOCKS, they are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.If you need socks for diabetic feet, THESE WILL NOT BE GOOD FOR YOU.I am not the only person upset by this change. There is at least one more reviewer reporting the SAME PROBLEM.But she had ordered the size medium. She had a posted photo that showed a size large was, at that time, what was expected.Well, I can tell you that as of now, the size large has the same problems that she reported.Tighter, different knit, and NO MEDIPED LOGO.I am upset, as I will have to try to find replacement socks that will work.

GREAT FOR SWOLLEN ANKLES
Bought these a year ago. I was on the hunt for socks that weren’t too tight around my ankles. I have a ganglion cyst in each ankle in the exact same spot, right beside the lateral malleolus. The first one appeared after a sever sprain in my right ankle when I was a teen, and the second appeared after I had broken my left ankle 4 years ago; the cyst was there as soon as the cast was removed so it seems it began growing while my ankle was still in the cast. I guess my body doesn’t take well to injured bones in my ankles. When I just had the one cyst it wasn’t so bad, with pain only being on that one ankle from long walks, hikes, etc. It would always be the worst in the summer months as my ankles would swell a little, and the cyst would swell a lot, causing it to push on the nerves in my ankle. Ever since I’ve had the the problem in both ankles the constant daily pain has been a bit of a struggle. I also suffer from very flat feet (that I was born with) which in itself has been causing issues as I’ve gotten older (37 now). Socks became an issue since healing from that broken ankle and dealing with the cyst on either ankle. Regular socks were too tight around my ankles, especially as the day went on and the cyst as well as my ankles would swell. I never even thought about socks for diabetics and I stumbled across these while searching for non-constrictive socks here on Amazon. These have been a game changer for me! I still deal with pain obviously lol, but I no longer deal with the extra amount of pain that tight fitting socks would give me. These don’t press on my ankles at all, even when I fold them down. They are very comfortable and have lasted a year now, going through regular wash and dry cycles. Over the course of the past year I’ve bought several sets, in both white and black. I have also just purchased the quarter socks set that I look forward to trying as they seem like they will be better to wear with leggings and I won’t need to fold them down. All in all best socks ever for anyone dealing with swollen ankles. These are the only socks I wear now! Long lasting and extremely comfortable. I won’t go back to regular socks again :)

soft cushion foot
these socks are very nice but they have a hem around the top of the leg which makes them fit a little snug and it leaves a mark on my leg. Others I have purchased had no hem at the top and were more flexible and did not mark my leg. But the quality is good and the foot is cushioned which is nice for walking.

Fits perfectly
Tried all sorts of diabetic socks and none could compare to these ones. I was skeptical buying them at first but when I bought them I put them on an wow they are so comfortable. A week later I ended up buying more.

Tight around ankle.
Disappointed in these socks. I am diabetic and found these very tight around ankles and lower leg.
