(6pcs)  I had a package of 6 LED 6-Watt GU10 MR16 DIMMABLE Light Bulbs that I wanted to use in my bedroom. I have recess lighting fixtures that take a standard bulb. I search for an adapter so I would not have to change every fixture. I found the FINELED E27 E26 Edison Screw Socket to GU10 Bayonet Base Adapter. It works perfectly and was simple to use. I put in the prong light bulb I wanted to use in the adapter and screwed it in to my light fixture. Instant update without changing any fixtures. Has a ceramic base and the housing is heat resistant plastic. Well made and work well with my LED GU10 dimmable light bulbs. Just your typical China stuff. Works. But hey everything is from China right?

How much does this adapter add to the length of the GU-10 bulb? It sort of depends on how you measure it? So, here’s a picture... (I have not put these into service, yet, but they appear serviceable. As I am using them with LED’s, exclusively, -I know: I took the picture with halogens; they were handy- I do not expect a heat failure problem; as others have reported?) Five stars, for my purposes, based on first impressions/cost/delivery speed.

I was surprised as to how well these worked. Just remove whatever bulb you have in the lamp socket, add the LED bulb to the adapter and re screw everything into the lamp to start saving money. I'm glad someone made these because halogen bulbs are expensive to run due to the amount of heat (power) they use or loose,

This is a complete life saver! We found a new light fixture, installed it only to realize the light bulb we bought for it (hue light) didn’t fit so we had to buy one that would and it only came with this one adapter. Luckily this converter made it so we could use the hue light with the new fixture!! Amazing price and saved us time!
