Rubie's Scooby-Doo The Mystery Machine Costume for Pets, Medium

Loved this costume- unfortunately it didn’t fit our pup and it was too late to order a different size in time for our party but it was one of the cutest costumes I’ve seen!

I bought this for my French Bulldog to go along with our Velma and Shaggy costumes. We went off of the sizing chart and ended up ordering a large. It fit bigger than expected. By the end of the night it was a little beat up and some fabric was coming off. But my dog looked so stinkin’ cute in it. Since it was a little big for her she had a hard time walking in it. It was a good purchase however I would order down a size from what it recommends.

This was a bit big head to tail on my puppy but top to bottom it was perfect.

Pictures showed no rear view:; I still have no clue how any sized dog can do #2 without an opening in the back below the hole for the tail of this Mystery Machine Pet Suit. The custome is hilariously funny, but unless your dog does not need to do his duty, I'd give it a pass. (Going #1 would also challenge a male or female dog not to wet the sides or back the way it's designed). I'm also taking time to write this review because, even though I returned the package in the same condition I received it, only got about half of my money refunded for this pricey dog costume - they charged me around $20 for a 'restocking fee' plus I had to pay postage to return the item.

I have a 9 month old shetland sheepdog who is under 30 pounds. This fits her like glove, so I wish I sized up so she could wear it next year. Overall however it is made well and is very cute.

Sizing is off. This runs way big. I have a 12# Yorkshire Terrier. She is big for a purebred and normally wears a medium in clothing & costumes. Most Yorkies wear a small or x small. The sizing chart on this said a medium fit a Yorkie. That should have been my first clue something was off. The neck measurement is about right for a medium, but the length & girth are too large.Another issue with this as it pertains to Yorkies: most Yorkies (as does mine) have short, stubby, little legs. The way this costume is constructed, it's basically a fabric rectangle with a large cutout on each end for the head & tail. It's open on the bottom, with a Velcro belly band. The dog in the picture seems to be tall enough for this, but my short little Yorkie was nowhere near tall enough to safely pull this off. Between that & how big it was overall, it just swam on her. She wears clothes & costumes all the time & tolerates them well. She was terrified to walk in this because it drug the ground. She almost disappeared inside it.Very disappointing, since I am a huge Scooby Doo fan. I considered trying this in size small, but I think even that would be too large. This just isn't an appropriate costume for a Yorkie, I guess. It's a shame, because this is so stinking adorable, it isn't even funny, but there's no way I can make this work. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

We're really impressed with the quality of this costume and how detailed it is. It doesn't bother our dog and fits him pretty perfectly (he's a 10kg cockapoo).

I was expecting something awful after reading some reviews about it being badly made so I was actually impressed with the outfit for less than £8! I have to agree with the sizing issue as according to the chart my dog ahould have been a large. I took a chance and ordered medium as it was cheaper and it's far too big so she could have fit in the small. Definitely size down but dont be put off buy the reviews saying its badly made. Mine was okay!!

I own a beagle and he has always been hard to size as his chest, length and height always seem to place him in different sizes for each.His costume shipped on time and quickly.To give a suggestion when purchasing the Scooby-doo Mystery Machine is to focus on the length of your dog as this is the most important part of this costume.My dog fits in the large (though it it about 2 inches too long for him). He was in between sizes, the large was the best fit. As you can see in the photos it’s not the best sitting costume as it bends and wrinkles.I have gotten nothing but compliments from this costume! I love it and think it’s an easy costume to put on you dog as it just hangs over them.
