HIGHROCK BNC Female to BNC Female CCTV Security Camera Adapter Straight Connector (PCS of 15)

I have been in communications for nearly 30 yrs and have used BNC connectors more times than I can count.I bought these to splice Video cable for a security camera system. I got what I paid for, they are the lowest possible quality that I have ever seen. When you connect one end it is very tight, it will push the center pin and insulator out the other side.I ruined 3 in a row before I got one to hold together enough to work. I used up 5 connectors to make 2 connections, that is not saving money.

Absolutely junk, center hole is just slightly too small to allow the BNC center pin to connect properly, was able to force them in but that often caused the center plastic sleeve to come free from the metal jacket. So now you have the center splicing point just loose between the two connectors, no real confidence that they are making good contact. As a professional electrical and A/V technician, these were extremely disappointing. 2 or 3 became quickly unusable. Fortunately I only needed 8, and was able to make enough of them "work". Get what you pay for here I guess...spend a little more and get better quality connectors.

These adapters work ok, but they are not of engineering lab quality. I'm using them mostly for dust caps on male BNC connectors. The best feature is that they are cheap.
