Good purchase
So far so good! I really have no complains about this product, everything works as expected. I really like it because it's compact, I really didn't want a monstrosity on my counter top. It still fits a frozen pizza. The safety instructions as far as it being a fire hazard are little scary, so I'm being extra careful. It's does heat up, but honestly not as much as I thought it would (I also used it for fairly quick recipes so far, no longer than 10-15 minutes).I find the settings very confusing - not sure how to use all configurations between the 3 knobs. Also the on/off function is not the best solution, I can see how somebody could easily leave it on by accident. The tray cleans very easily, but gets kinda warped from heat (returns to normal shape once cooled off). It's a nice looking, modern piece.

Very good buy
Had to replace my DeLonghi which finally died after many years of use. I read through many of the reviews of this and other toaster ovens and settled on this model because of price, size and features. Yes, I would’ve liked to have a light and automatic turn-off but that cost $100 more. It’s analog vs digital so no complaints of electronic failure. It toasts my bread, it roasts and it heats up my pizza easily. I set a timer when necessary. It heats up quickly.

Mini Oven
I haven’t owned a toaster oven since the early 1970s (I’m old). My full size range oven needs to be replaced but I’m not ready to do that yet so opted for an economical substitute. I am pleasantly surprised how well the little oven works. I’ve baked muffins and banana bread, baked potatoes and twice baked potatoes, reheated chicken and leftover Brussels sprouts (in lieu of using the microwave), and roasted squash. It’s an excellent toaster, somewhat slower than a dedicated vertical toaster, but can accommodate larger, thicker bread products. It’s a great stand in, but cannot replace, a full size oven for cookie sheets or a 9x13 casserole dish. I can’t use my 12 muffin tin, but can use 2 6-muffin pans, one on each rack. I can use two 8x8 pans at a time, one on the bottom solid slide out rack and one on the wire rack.I will continue to use this little oven even after I get a full size oven, when size allows. It heats quickly, seems to maintain proper temperature setting, and so far has been easy to clean with a damp cloth. The racks are removable and can be washed in a sink (or probably a dishwasher).I find the temperature indicator, function indicator, and roast color indicator somewhat challenging to read because they’re just a small dot on the knobs, rather than something more contrasting. The controls are mechanical knobs, not digital push buttons, but seem to function well. It’s a good little oven that for me performs beyond its small footprint.

I LOVE THIS THING SOOOO MUCH
Im a single woman with a brand new Samsung gas oven... and to start that everytime for me to have a serving-size-one meal feels like a waste. SO I fell in love with this Cuisinart Convention oven as it works perfectly with deep, wide casserole pans (glass, metal) which are great 1-2 serving size meals and feels like it takes very little energy to use. I wrap a layer of foil on the lower tray to help keep oven clean. I use this baby for toast, pizza, broiling, baking, everything...my fav meal is a protein with raw veggies, cook in separate casseroles and merge...top with sprinkles of mozz cheese... i already have one that i bought like 3 years ago which works perfectly but i bought ANOTHER ONE because i never want to be without it.

Probably great for cooking, less so for PCB reflow
This does seem like a very nice little oven for cooking. I bet it’s great. But I bought mine for PCB reflow soldering. It was not a great choice for that. The disassembly and reassembly are nearly destructive due to poor serviceability design. You can’t just take the cover off because every part seems to depend on every other part, so it’s all or nothing to open up. Also, the thermal load and lag of these elements is huge. Probably great for cooking, but very difficult for thermal profiling, like 50°C rise after turning off.

Believe the reviews that say it's not easy to use. And it's built to bend...
Arrived today, bent out of shape by being dropped on one corner. Better packing would have helped, but a stronger device would have helped more. Returning it asap... but will replace with a "nicer to use" toaster oven.Cleaning: Not bad. But the crumb tray is in the oven with the heating elements. I much prefer a pull-out tray that is a bit further away so stuff isn't so likely to get cooked on. All aluminum, which is okay but not ideal. The inner surfaces were mostly smooth and probably aluminum.Rack and pan: Stainless or chromed rack, slides easily, seems strong enough. Pan is all aluminum, not dishwasher friendly, though if you don't mind it coming out ugly you can use the dishwasher. Spouse is not at all a fan of that look though.NOT easy to use. Probably 90% or more of our use is to toast something: Burger buns, bagel, cheesy toast, ordinary toast... and so when it arrived, I tried to figure out how to do that. There are three knobs. NOT clearly labeled, but readable with good light and my reading glasses. TWO of the knobs have an "off" position: Top one for temperature... or all the way to the right for "toast" and the bottom one a timer. The middle knob is for "purpose", none of which is "toast". So I set the top to "toast" and the middle one to "pizza" and turned it on to cook off a bit of the newly-made odor. After a minute or two, it rang a bell and I opened it to sniff. Not bad. Closed the door and continued with my chores. A few minutes later we noticed a very hot smell. Yep. The manual says you have to turn off BOTH the knobs. Not acceptable: We're only human and we're not very likely to get those little badly marked knobs to the "off" position every time... and as hot as it smelled, that could be an actual fire hazard. Certainly a chance to hurt ourselves. Or burn something that you want to leave in there to stay warm for a minute... and then forget about it.Price: Not very expensive, but imo, too expensive at any price. I consider it not safe to use.

Good product
This is a nice unit. The price seems fair comparing to other suppliers. I love the finish. Simple easy to use controls.

Fácil de usar
Muy buen producto, fácil de usar y de limpiar. La caja llegó golpeada pero el horno estaba intacto y funcionando correctamente, muy recomendable.

Read the instructions before using!
I love how fast this cooks! The only downfall is that the book says not to use glass in the oven, which I much prefer to cook with. I also bought a separate set of toaster oven size pans, which I would recommend if you plan to use this a lot.

Cuisinart stands by its products…
Bought this mini oven after I had to return an Hamilton Beach similar oven which lasted less than two weeks. Although we paid double the price the initial one it seems it is worth paying a bit more for better quality. Only time will tell but I am confident this one will last. It has no electronics on it. Good old mechanical timer and dimmer… ONE year later. Cuisinart replaced the unit as per warranty. Two months later we experienced the same failure. Without much fuss Cuisinart gracefully upgraded this model. Ever since it works like a charm. So much for good ol’ mechanical…. The least I can say is that Cuisinart stands by its products or brand should I say. Morality, don’t buy cheap…
