Path of the Specialist: Path of the Ranger, Book 6

This book had a few surprises in for us. Our main characters are always getting into trouble with their curious natures and poor fortunes/fates. I love it when things happen, that I don't expect. As always, I am excited for the next adventure ahead.

I have read 6 so far,,,,this is my first review of this series.Normally after the first or for sure the second the books dwindle down into nothing but wars and fights and travels of the characters.However,,this series has held the excitement of new characters, new magic and experiences. I am always pleasantly surprised.The banter between them is very good. The thinking and reasoning of the problems they face seems real! I thoroughly have enjoyed reading these books so far, and look forward to the rest!

I discovered this series through Kindle Unlimited and have thoroughly enjoyed watching the author developed the character and relationships of the main players, the Snow Panthers.The primary character is Lasgol, who through no-fault to his own has to carry the mantle of exceptional parents who followed the dictates of their conscience to the disapproval of their fellow countryman. But the weight of this heritage is what hones the moral integrity of Lasgol. Choosing to follow the dictates of his conscience, the most secret of all properties, he makes very hard decisions often sacrificial, to do the right thing; something this generation needs a lesson in.As an animal lover, I have enjoyed the interaction between Lasgol and his animal companions. This book most particularly, focuses in on the unique relationship people can have with animals when respecting one another’s free will.I give this book a four star only because, at times, the author wearies the reader with such detail and redundancy that one feels compelled to skip pages hoping to find nuggets of something new and less mindnumbing. In the end, the conflict created throughout the story is resolved and the reader walks away satisfied, looking forward to the next book.I do recommend the series but be prepared that some of it can be a little tedious. I appreciate this is truly a PG rated series and some thing I would have no hesitation reading out loud to my children.

I am so impressed how the author keeps the storyline fresh and original, six books into this series! The characters continue to learn, grow and adapt to all the challenges put before them. I feel like a major chapter in their lives was completed in this book. I am anxious to see what is in store for them in the future!

I'd say this book brings everything together and when things get more serious. They've had great challenges and finally things are brought to a point.

I liked this book better than the first 5 (which were fun reads)! The specializations were intriguing and the fun plot twists were entertaining. You won’t be disappointed!

This book finds our adventurous group along with other fellow Rangers receiving their training in individual specializations. Attacks on our young heroes are often and near deadly. Lasgol adds another animal to his life as a Ranger. Ingrid, Viggo, Astrid, and Lasgol are stretched to their limit in their path to specialization.

I continue to enjoy the evolving plot lines and will definaly keep reading, recommend the series, you will not regret the journey

The whole series is a great read!The camaraderie, of the Snow Panthers, the personalities of each and how they face their different adventures, their solidarity, honesty, are great values to learn from reading. There is also a fine sense of humor and funny situations that make this a terrific rad and a great gift. FOR ALL AGES!

I loved the exotic different specialities, one of my favourite things is archery so my favourite specialities in that house are natural archer and the elemental archer. I also love the forest assassin, tireless tracker and healer guard. I really enjoyed the drama when the characters experienced serious injuries and near death experiences. It's very exciting to read. I would recommend to my friends. My favourite book in the series I can't stop re- reading! Again amazing book, and my favourite read.🙂😀😍

Enjoyed the book leading to the success or failure of the characters. Lots of action, tension and joy. Recommended for most readers of fantasy

The author has clearly improved as the series has gone on, there are even more exceptional character arcs, plotting and especially brilliant scenes, and with no questionable bits that don't get resolved.This is the first in the series I've given 5 stars, a true 5 stars not given lightly.
