I love the idea behind these WebCam covers, despite the fact that they don't cover and shield all that much.Now, the reason behind my giving them 4 out of 5 is because I really believe if they were to improve the design, they would be on to something amazing.The white "lock" symbol on this sticker makes the image a little too transparent when snapped using my laptop's webcam.(image included in this review as proof!)I think if they were to either make the lock sticker more solid, perhaps instead of the opaque way they achieved the lock symbol they could just use a full-on white-on-white background.Giving this WebCam cover more of a old-fashioned "Sticker" look and feel.(Which, sadly, can be achieved by placing ANY sticker over our WebCam,so the idea behind purchasing this product would be useless if they were to simply construct it in a sticker-form.)I firmly believe that giving it something unique that will catch the eyes of us buyers will keep this product on the market as a whole.Like perhaps some sort of mechanism in the back to help further the security--like perhaps some sort of blocking material like those blocking ID card holders have. (The ones that are supposed to keep people from stealing your information!), a thin material in the back that will keep people from stealing anything or seeing anything.They can keep to their patented adhesive, just change the design a bit so that it can't be seen through AT ALL.Something would suffice, to ensure extra security precautions.because right now it just blurs enough to not really give an identity, but it still shows figures and shapes.I will either wait around to see if they improve the product before I buy again OR stack all three stickers on my laptop at once.Which will help blur my face and the faces of my family members and our information more.All in all, despite the small error in design--I think it's still a solid product full of potential!4/5-The following rating comes from:1 star- Packaging. These are certainly a much nicer looking alternative to the piece of black electrical tape that I've had over my laptop camera.This cling is quite small and looks just like the picture: black 1 cm square with a white 'lock' in the center.I thought that the white lock was going to be solid as well, but it is opaque. You can see through it, it is like frosted glass.You won't be able to see exceptionally clearly who or what is going on however you will be able to see if someone is within a couple of feet of the computer camera.All in all, a bit disappointing. I was hoping for total and complete coverage, not for it to be clear in the center.As you can see in my photos: I put this over my phone's camera and took pictures close up and 2' away. It is not something that I would say is 'a cover'. It is a frosted sticker that will still let images be seen. I have one of these on my laptop and it works fine. It sticks perfectly and is opaque enough for it's purpose but the white part is still a little too transparent for me. I prefer the pack in black, but these works okay too. The third picture is me through the white lock part of the sticker to show how it looks.
