Very intimidating to install but just go over the steps again and again until you feel comfortable doing it. There's also YouTube videos as well. I personally did the uv light several times to make sure it adhered good. The punch out for the camera is maybe 1/32 " off but I'm just an extremely detailed oriented person. This is easily 100x better than the film from factory.

Watched install video from the manufacturer twice. Put all the items out in order to install the protector. The “top” tray where you put the phone in was a bit twisted, as in the left side of the tray would snap in place but the right side wouldn’t snap and “pop off”. The first try when I thought the tray was properly seated, the adhesive liquid flow went to the left side and most of it was absorbed by the protective absorption strips. The adhesive never made it to cover the entire screen, even after 10 min of waiting.Since there are two of everything in the kit, the one nice part about it, I tried it again. This time I made sure that the liquid wouldn’t shift to the side and waited for it to flow towards the middle of the screen. Removed the top tab to drop the glass in place, the liquid started flowing as expected. I thought to myself that the second try was the winner, but as the liquid was flowing, the screen started shifting as if it was floating and became crooked. Obviously I had to straighten it out as best I could, and managed to do so. Once the liquid covered the whole screen, I used the UV light as instructed, then removed the tray (the right side still didn’t “snap” into place). However, upon taking the phone out of the tray, I noticed the adhesive didn’t “set” right on the bottom left corner of the screen. Tried pushing it in hopes that it would smooth down to no avail.I was really hoping this would work, but it did not. I usually don’t leave 1-star reviews, but this did not work for me even after viewing the instructions and following them to a T. I’m out $50, but will try to return it or exchange it.Edit 2/20/21: Amazon sent me an exchange on 2/19. Gave it another try and followed the instructions again to a T. Initially, the install was flawless, this time the tray wasn’t twisted and actually snapped into place as it should. The liquid adhesive flowed to the screen as per the instructions and upon placing the glass protector in the tray and letting it drop on the liquid adhesive, it all spread through the screen, again as it should. Gave it some time just in case to make sure the liquid coverage was full, used the UV light again as instructed, took the phone off the tray and did the final curing with the UV light and all seemed well, the glass protector was flawless and smooth.However, it was short-lived. As I woke up today, 2/20, the top and bottom of the glass protector have developed tiny bubbles and separation from the phone. Two newer pictures are attached. My rating still stands as this is not what should be expected.

In order to save a few bucks, I purchased several generic screen protectors for my fold3. Many failed or fell off after a few weeks. I finally broke down and purchased the whitestone and installed it. It was flawless and over 45 days later is still flawless. Yes, this protector is expensive but the value is far better than the cheap protectors

This is for the front cover and NOT for the large screen inside. I should learn to read the description better.

Please don't listen to the folks about how hard this product is to install. Like the instructions said (that's are on the QRC code on the back of the box) read the instructions line by line and you won't have any problems.Make sure your screen is free from prints and lint. Don't use the cloth that is included. It has lint on it. Use a microfiber cloth and the glass wipes included to clean the screen.Make sure you use the strips around the phone. They help protect the phone in the curing process.Yes, if you pre attach the glass prior to the installation process, it's not going to line up edge to edge. This is designed that way so that you can put a case on the phone.You must let the adhesive flow to the center arrows on the jig. If the liquid is two far up, or two far down, you will have problems when you pull the black plastic tab. Make sure you go slow and take your time centering the liquid. Once the liquid is in a circle ( you may have to move the jig slightly and carefully to achieve this) then release the tab and let the liquid spread. The instructions say 100 seconds but don't go by that. Just go by what you see once the liquid spreads. If there is a corner or slight bubble look. Carefully press down on it without moving the screen. Once it's fully covered, then put the curing lamp on for the 30 seconds and 60 seconds for the top and bottom. I also did the middle as well. I hope this helps someone.

Most difficult screen protector to install in my life lol. The measurements for the liquid adhesive is slightly off so I had to use an extra drop or two from the extra. But otherwise it’s very nice. However a few weeks later the adhesive started creating little spider webs underneath. Nothing crazy it could be me with how I handle my phone but just putting it out there.

In my honest opinion the difficulty of this is enough for someone to get a license doing it and offering to install it for you in a phone store. There is a LOT that can go wrong, i tried 3 times, twice because there are two glass protectors and once more when i went for the warranty. (which costs 10$ for them to ship another one)first, its obviously not cheap, and theres not much i can think of other than the gimmicky UV light thing that would make it cost so much.second, its VERY difficult to install without dust if you live somewhere dusty in general, had to learn this the hard way, i guess thats my problem though.More importantly, the adhesive given is often not enough and doesn't actually spread all the way. After some hours of googling AFTER i screwed up 3 times, i learned that you're supposed to tilt the phone to help the adhesive move along... couldn't find that anywhere except from a random reddit post, so even then i'm not sure.Either way i'm obviously not a trained professional to install this and i can only hope you manage to become one within the span of your 2 attempts.

Love the quality of the protector once it's on the phone however installing it was quite a task. I watched a YouTube video which made it much easier. If I didn't have that video I would have never installed it. I screwed up my first attempt because this pack doesn't include a bridge to put your liquid adhesive in. Highly recommend watching a video before attempting.

Unglaublich gute Folie.Montage in einigen Schritten, dafür aber äußerst präzise möglich und 100% ohne Blasen.Glatte und angenehme Oberfläche, passgenau. Schließt gut mit Hüllen ab.Teuer aber hält was es verspricht. Gleich zwei Stück zu kriegen ist auch einfach nur praktisch.

So after owning the fold for a few weeks I noticed scratches on the screen. To my relief, this was only on the factory installed screen protector, so I peeled it off! I then panicked. I needed a screen protector. Looking at all the other offerings reviews were mixed, and as previous experience has taught me installing a screen protector is never easy. So I took the plunge. The whitestone screens are provided with a contraption to install them. Watching the tutorial is a must. But when completed the results are outstanding. The feel does not differ from the unprotected screen, nor does the responsiveness. I am very happy. Let's face it the fold is an expensive device, spend the extra and give it the protection it deserves!
