Element Case CFX Mil-Spec Drop Tested Case for Apple iPhone 7 Plus/iPhone 8 Plus - Orange (EMT-322-131EZ-22)

This is one sporty looking case, especially in the orange color. The combination of orange and black makes this case pop. The picture makes the black portion darker than it actually is. It is really a grayish black which I like better than a pure black. The case is sturdy and fits the 8 plus perfectly. The buttons function perfectly. It will be very easy to keep this case clean. It also does not show fingerprints. The case does have lip protection but I highly suggest a screen protector. The other colors for this case are nice but they don’t look much different from other cases out there. The orange and black combination makes this case stand out in my opinion. And unlike many Element cases, this one is reasonably priced.

Really wanted an orange Urban Armour case, but they don't make one for the 7plus, so I had to look around for something similar and this fit the bill. It actually turned out to be a bit better than the UA case. I really like the metal volume buttons, which work better than the molded plastic ones on the UA case. The only thing I'm worried about is when I toss it on the table it sounds like it's hits harder than a UA case which seems to have softer plastic on the back.

It's not to big and bulky nor is it thin and flimsy. The fit is perfect, it doesn't go over the glass screen, it fits right to the edge where the glass meets the phone frame. The Element CFX cover has a nice feel and form fit grip when its in your hand. It's exactly what I was looking for to protect my newest generation iPhone. The color combination is great and the carbon fiber inserts also look great.I especially like the metal in-laid buttons. They have a positive feel and are easy to find. The dark color looks more like grey than black but I'm ok with the two tone orange/dark grey color combination. Overall I am happy with this phone cover. It has taken me trying five different covers only to find the one I'm going to stick with, and that's is this one. Yes its an expensive case, but part of the cost is the really nice box they send it in. I would be happy if this cover came in a plastic wrap for half the cost of what I paid, but I'm still totally satisfied with the fit and finish and the way it feels. On a scale of 1 to 10 it gets a 9.5, it would definitely get a 10 if the darker color was actually black rather than a dark grey.

The case feels nice and seems to be of excellent craftsmanship. The price point is spot on and superior to the dozen cases from Best Buy or the like. The color contrast between the black is up to your preference, but I like it. The buttons are excellent.

The middle part of the case is high quality but the top and bottom are a more silicon like material that changes color in a short amount of time.

I've been a huge fan of element cases for the past several years and have owned 3 different ones.Naturally when I upgraded to the iPhone 7 I had to upgrade my phone case and Element was the next natural choice.The case looks very nice aesthetically however it differs from every other element case that I've owned as this one is a single piece of flexible plastic that holds the phone with a pressure fit. Based on the pictures and my past experience with element cases, I expected this to be a rigid metal and plastic hybrid that screwed together to securely hold the phone instead of plastic. That being said, the plastic is high quality and thick with ample protection for falls.The buttons on the case make good contact with the iPhone and easily activate the lock / volume buttons. The case has plenty of room for the lightning connector so if you have 3rd party cables that have a larger end, they will fit just fine through the case and plug into the phone.When the phone is in vibrate mode, the case does not cause any amplification of the vibration noise thanks in part to the plastic back which makes good contact with the surface.

This is the second Element case I have purchased and it does not disappoint. The first Element ION case for iphone 5s lasted me nearly three years and countless drops. When I took my old 5s out of the case to trade-in for an iPhone 7 in store it was in nearly flawless condition. I fully expect this one to last the same amount of time. The styling looks great and has a clean masculine look with carbon accents.One note is that the Black advertised color has a slight blue/grey tint in the top/bottom plastic and is not truly "black". This makes it look better in my opinion but if you wanted a black on black case this is not it.

I usually don't write reviews, but this case left me with bitter-sweet feelings. It worked great, and saved my phone in a pretty significant fall, to the point I was bragging my friends about it. However, like another review stated, the softer rubbery material on the edging of the case spited off the harder plastic casing on the back. That happened closer to 1 year after the purchase, but I still believe there is a flaw in design/engineering/manufacturing, which causes that.Anyway, I ignored the issue for a while, and when my phone fell down again - the case no longer protected it and my screen shattered. Now it got even worse: the rubbery material started splitting from plastic below the power button, making it loose, possibly scratching actual button on the phone (see attached picture)...I've had cheaper cases, and they were holding out better than CFX from Element Case. I really expected it to hold out for years, and starts to fall apart close to the 1 year mark. I was really looking forward to eventually upgrading to their Sector case, but now I just don't know. They seem sturdy, but they are flawed, and the manufacturer will likely not accept my warranty claim since it's been over a year, it does seem like they engineered that particular case model to fail right after the 1 year warranty expires.

Moche et nul au touché !

This case broke apart in only 6-7 months. Element Case was great a few years ago. But since then I’ve tried a few of its newer models and it seems to be going bad to worse. This case it really a poor quality product. I’d recommend to stay away from the Element Case brand all together.

Tut was es soll - schützt das IPhone.Preis ist auch akzeptabel. Über das Aussehen kann man geteilter Ansicht sein, mir gefällt es ganz gut.Angenehm ist die Haptik (auch wieder eine subjektive Sache) - unterscheidet sich natürlich von IPhone pur, gestaltet die ganze Angelegenheit etwas griffiger.Klare Kaufempfehlung, zumal das nicht mein erstes ElementCase ist.

Love this case. My iPhone feels very secure when in it, plus it looks and feels nice in the hands
