So I've lost 130 pounds and am at the weird spot where I am in between normal sizes. Some size 34 jeans fit me perfectly while other brands fall off of me and I need size 32. These shorts are similar. Growing up chubby and losing the weight means my legs are complete tree trunks. My buddy had a pair of these shorts in medium that I tried on and it felt like my thighs were being strangled by the compression layer while the waist was slightly tight. The large size that I ordered fit my thighs perfectly! But if I lost another 5 to 10 pounds, the waist will no longer fit me and currently has a very loose fit. One swift and light tug and I'll be banned from the gym. They really are 5 star shorts and the quality is unmatched, but if you never skip leg day like a maniac. Be sure to try them on to make sure. I inadvertently ripped the tag off while trying to get them out of the package because I'm not very smart so I just have to keep them.
