This mirror is very sturdy. Heavier than it looks. I needed the magnifier because I wear glasses. I couldn't wear makeup because I can't see without glasses. The magnifying side is perfect. I can actually see what I'm doing. Very happy with purchase.

Pros: good price & love the tray for makeup & jewelry. Cons: it's too short for me so I have to put it on a 4 inch stack of something to see properly. You can't make it any taller as the length is not adjustable. And I have to keep on tightening the mirror on the base as flipping the morror from standard to magnified loosens it a bit.

This mirror is perfect for my youtube tutorials. Applying makeup is a lot easier to me because of the double-sided mirror and the magnifying mirror really is 5X. Love it.

It's decent for the price. My only complain is that I can't get the mirror screwed on tight enough to the base so it's a bit wobbly. I don't think it's going to come apart, but the screw on the bottom is covered by a fabric so i can't get to it to see if tightening it would help.
