It really helps.
This really helps support my back while sitting in a soft recliner. I bought two more for the office chairs in my husband’s and my offices. I also took it with me to support my back in the passenger seat of the car on a long trip up and down the east coast. The only thing I don’t like are the green spare covers that came with it. There is no way those can fit on the support.

It provides better support than memory foams
Most memory foams are too soft and provide less support. This one provides good support.Other Pros:adjustable, extra cover and bolts.

Easy installation
Purchased this lumbar support for my home office. It is pretty easy to put together and it's flexible, hugs the back well when leaned back. Was hoping there is more cushion though, overall a good product.

Maybe not for short people?
I returned this because it actually made my back hurt more. I suspect it may be designed for tall people.
