I love these reeds! They are very consistent and the way they are cut gives lots of depth and warmth to the sound, while being responsive and easy to play. These work wonderfully with my Greg Smith mouthpiece, as well as my other mouthpieces (Hawkins, Reserve, MoBa). They can be a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. I can get one box of reeds to last a couple months, but I also know how to adjust/balance them, so depending on your reed skills you may or may not get that kind of longevity out of them.

Very satisfied with this purchase or rather my son was. According to his band instructor, this is exactly what he needs and wanted to have for that perfect pitch. This is the second time that I've purchased this for my son's instrument, so it's definitely doing its job.

These reeds are fabulous! They provide a nice warm sound and my articulation sounds more crisp than other reeds. They are more "Bright" sounding than say Vandoren but not in a bad way. It's not overly bright and provides your sound a lot of overtones to project in an orchestra. Most players think dark equals amazing tone but dark is dead. Use the right size of the reserve classic Reed and it will make your sound project more! Not to mention they are very consistent (about 8/10 work very well)

The first reed has played very well for me. Good tone and articulation.Of course, reeds, even in the same box, are usually not the same. But I'm happy with this purchase.

I bought this and got three broken reeds, I always carefully care for my boxes of reeds and this is really frustrating on how expensive they are and then arrive broken, I only use this brand because my private instructor tells me to and they sound and work nice, but it really ticked me off that they arrived broken, I threw one broken reed away anfew days ago, and I wanted to rotate, and i found two more broken reeds. If this happens again I'm not buying anymore

This is a great reed. Strengths compare to others. Consistent through the box. The Classic is preferred over the other style for my use which is both classical and jazz. However, I have three different mouthpieces with different facings and bores. I found these reeds worked best one of them. Other reeds worked best on other mouthpieces. In short, you really can't evaluate them until you try them. They are worth the investment.

I have been using them for years now, never seem to disappoint. I absolutely love the reeds, they give me a nice, warm, soothing, full, dark, and rich tone. My range is so vast and my articulation is crisp and clear. I would highly recommend these and they're actually fairly priced.
