Murex Quill Stem

Looks so much better than a standard quill stem. Anyone trying to add some style to their fixed gear or track bike should definitely get this. The steel is very close to the steel quality and texture of any regular steel part I have on my bike. As for sturdiness when tightening, no issue. Felt very stable. If I have any issues in the future, I will update this review. Once it's on, it almost looks flat and perpendicular to my top tube. Amazing! Love the look!

I liked the 2 bolt system and the stiffness.

Old school. The only way to go for a retro, but very fast steel Gios. Can’t beat the lines—and the shimmer—of a good old quill stem. Heavier than modern stems? Yeah, a bit. Who cares. This thing is SHARP. And it’s Deda: my favorite components; top-drawer Italian quality. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely but of kit and goes well with the matching Deda flat bar.I personally like that the handlebar clamp has two socket cap screws instead of a classic quill with a single screw. This means you don't have to slide the handlebar through and risk scratching it.The finish is lovely, as is the shape. Highly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful stem

Ottima fattura e facilità di applicazione. Poco estetico il tappo in gomma, ma funzionale. Usato per manubrio Deda dritto per rimodernare una vintage.

Deda macht Vorbauten mit 80mm Länge, was für den Umbau von alten Stahlrädern sehr nützlich sein kann. Die Qualität ist top und was die Sache auch erleichtert, ist, dass die Befestigung des Lenkers mit zwei Schrauben gelöst ist. Daher muss man bei der Montage nicht extra die Bremsgriffe abmontieren und den Lenker anschließend neu mit dem Lenkerband bewickeln. So geht es viel einfacher.
