There is nothing like fresh brewed coffee made in a French Press Coffee Maker. I’ve had one of the old style glass and chrome French Press Coffee Makers for years; I love the coffee it makes. Only downside is that you need to drink all the coffee made quickly or else it will get cold before you drink your next cup. I purchased this French Press at a Discount for my Honest and Unbiased Review. I received the French Press in only a couple of days. It came nicely packaged and was well padded and protected from damage during shipping. I opened the box and immediately observed a really nice and well-made French Press. In order to review my new French Press, I had to give it a try. So, I ground up some Ruta Maya 100% Organic Dark Roast Mayan Coffee and heated up some water. I poured in the ground coffee and the hot water in my new French Press and let the coffee steep. After 5 minutes, I finish up the press and gave the fresh coffee a taste. And just like my old French Press, it worked absolutely great and gave me the absolutely nice cup of full-bodied coffee. No grounds, only great tasting coffee. Now for the big test; will the remaining coffee stay hot while I drink my first cup of fresh made coffee? The answer is a “Resounding – Yes”. Not only was the second cup hot, but all following cups down to the last drop and with no grounds. The double wall construction worked great and reminds me of the heat retention capability of my Yeti Rambler Tumbler. Wow. Okay, I have had glass French Presses before (yawn). They are kind of high maintenance and just don't keep the heat in very well. I hemmed and hawed about this but that was just being stupid. This double-walled stainless steel press makes ANY coffee taste better (it is the method, not some magic of the metal). It is super easy to clean and keeps your coffee hot for a little over an hour, more if you wrap it in a towel (which you have to with glass models). Crazy durable. I have broken a few glass models. What I liked most was how cheap this thing is by comparison. It seemed that it should be a PoS since it is cheaper than many glass FPs I have found on Amazon. Not at all. I would buy another one because I love this so much, but even after a few months this thing proves it will last at least a decade. The handle is solid, and that is the only potential weak part. Oh, and it comes with a few extra screens, so that is nice I suppose. Anyway, hope this helps. Thanks for reading this.

There is no manufacturer info(address, phone number etc). When Googled online, no details of the manufacturer.Item received with one screen filter. When contacted Amazon, routine answer. Return it, we would refund your money. Sick of returns and refunds drama. Why Amazon is selling a name-less manufacturer products on their site.I would not recommend this product. Buy it only if you want to live with it without the product guarantee. I am willing to update my review if someone can point me how to exercise my warranty option of this item. Thanks

The screen gets full of grounds in between every time so means to take a part every time. Other products I have used did not need to be disassembled after each use. Like the size, perfect for 2 people.

In our household we're against buying a cup of coffee in a cafe for $5 a cup, we're over those days. My husband and I would make coffee before we left for work and that liquid gold will be our source of energy for the day.A few mornings ago he broke his press and I offered to find new one for him, I found this and immediately thought that this is a great solutions for sloppy people like us who breaks things all the time!When we open the box this press was so new and shiny we loved it right away. We got the 1 litre size and with that size it's perfect for making both of our coffee at the same time, before this we made our coffee separately.This product is sturdy and it came with extra filter, great because the filter in french press has the tendency to break. Also I especially appreciate the handle, its a good size and, lo and behold, the distance is far enough from the pot itself so I don't have to be scared the the knuckles of my hand would touch the hot pot. Coming from someone who, may I remind you, sloppy, this feature is mighty important.Get this press, it worth every penny!

True, this French Press is a bit on the expensive side, but worth every penny. After shattering two brand new glass Mr. Coffee French Presses in three days (can't say I wasn't warned), I scanned down Amazon's French Press listings looking for one that had positive reviews. Took a while.This is a beautiful stainless pitcher. It is heavy and so well insulated that the coffee stays hot for an hour or more. The 3 piece press plunger is also heavy duty and when pushed down, doesn't leave any grounds above the plunger. It cleans up easily. The plunger does not even have to be disassembled for cleaning.

I've never tried a French press but I've kind of been eyeing them. I decided to take the plunge and buy one and boy am I happy!!! When I first took the product out of the box I noticed that it is all stainless steel it looks very sleek. When I used to this coffee maker it was very clear that I just had the most delicious coffee ever. It is very simple to use you just put the hot water and coffee intor the pot, I let it set about 10 minutes and then push the plunger down and you're ready to enjoy coffee! After using it it was very simple to clean. WELL DONE!
