These match dremel compatible handpiece threading only!
The TEMO brand flex shafts are excellent choices if you are using a DREMEL BRAND product, or any rotary tool using the dremel threading, which in my experience is the smaller tighter threading option for rotary tools. I have tried 10 different brands of flex shaft and it comes down to TWO!!!! (2) types of threading. dremel brand compatible is a smaller thread with a tighter twist. The non dremel brand is M8 *(by) 0.75 thread and you can find this thread in the TMAX brand of flex shaft. I do NOT know the exact specs on dremel thread but it is NOT m8 x .75 like all non-dremel-compatible rotary tool threading seems to be. I can say after buying 5 TEMO brand flex shafts they have all been dremel compatible threading (my neumaster rotary tool AND my Juergensen rotary tool match the dremel threading: but my WEN and APEXforge rotary tools do NOT match dremel brand and require the TMAX brand flex shaft).TLDR ----- This brand of flex shaft is DREMEL BRAND THREADING compatible only! If you know your brand does not match DREMEL/NEUMASTER/JUERGENSEN (to name the ones that i personally have tested) look for the TMAX brand flex shaft that is sold on amazon, it works for your brand of rotary tool. Personally I like the DREMEL type thread better. Both types of threading require care to make sure the chuck is not cross threaded and crooked when fully tightened, and work perfectly once properly aligned, but the dremel type threading "SEEMS" to tighten true more easily than the M8 * 0.75 threading of non dremel-compatible tools. *note this review is on the handpiece threading of the spindle, where the bits screw in NOT the end that attaches to the rotary tool!!*
