Use Patience and Work Quickly!
I wouldn't say this is "beginner-friendly", although I AM a beginner. It took me a few tries, and you HAVE TO BE PATIENT! You will need to provide your own monomer acrylic liquid(that doesn't need curing), tools, nail forms, base coat/top coat(those usually need to be cured), and UV lamp. The acrylic powder came in a zip lock plastic bag(helpful if it leaks), plus it also was sealed. I first tried to follow the directions that say to combine both the monomer acrylic liquid with the acrylic powder to form a ball. Then spread out to form your nail. I kept getting different thicknesses each time as I was just "eye-balling" it. That didn't work. It basically made a mess. I forgot to mention that I applied a base coat and cured it before doing anything else. Then put on the nail form and tried making the nail. After the "ball" method didn't work, I figured maybe I'll first spread out the monomer acrylic liquid over the nail with the base coat, then dip the brush into the acrylic powder and spread on the nail. I had to repeat this quite a few times until I had an extended nail, but it worked! Sure, it was crude and lumpy(expect that). But after peeling off the nail form, I saw potential! I got a rough nail file and started filing the sides, and top. It does take time, but once you have it filed the way you want, then you apply the top coat and cure. It's not perfect, and could use a bit more filing, but NOT BAD!!! Hint: You have to work quickly to apply the acrylic powder and spread it out. Spread several thin coats if you can. I think once one gets used to the application, it will go quickly. The filing and curing the top coat will take longer. And no bubbles, which I appreciate! All in all, not a bad way to extend your nails especially for the price!

Good product at a reasonable price
The color matched the pictures well, and it was easy to put on. I saw from some other reviewers that people were having some issues putting this on, but if you get a good quality basecoat, activator, and topcoat, you’ll have an easier time with it. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this product, but I’ve also had better… nothing beats going to the salon…
