I have used Foscam cameras in the past and will in the future easy and quick to setup. Took longer to drill a hole in wall for power cable. Good picture ive had it setup on wifi and ethernet no issues. :)

Despite claiming it would take power from the router connection it didn't. Nor would it work without a direct cable connection to the router.... although this may have been down to my weak wi-fi signal and not the cameras fault.

Camera very good but having tried 2 different WiFi cameras I have to say that WiFi technology isn't up to the job. I ended up buying and using PoE (Power Over Ethernet)

Installing the app and the setup was surprisingly easy which we did prior to mounting the camera. Most of our settings was done via the app but you can also use the desktop version for setup if it's easier (for example we found it easier using a mouse to set the privacy mask area on a bigger screen). Some settings include changing the resolution, sounds, sending email notifications, uploading to FTP server, sensitivity tweaking, schedules and a lot more. We hooked it up to our mesh network without fuss and then mounted it and to be honest, we spent more time deciding where to mount and the angle, then we spent on the set up itself but this is because we were being very fussy.The siron helped us with testing the perimeter and although we've kept it off, it's easy to turn the feature back on. There's also a 2 way audio which we had fun playing around but we don't feel we'll need to use it due to where it's located. Still nice to have though. Light switch you can toggle on an off, just like a lot of the features. The privacy mask setting is great which we've used to mask a small section of our neighbour's garden. Being our first external security camera, we can't compare it to others however the picture quality is great both day and night and we receive alerts for activity, can view the live feed, watch the odd fox visit and we're happy with it and gives us peace of mind.

Had them up and running in under 10 minutes and linked to both my husband and self mobiles bought 2 and you can link 4. I do not have cables all wireless really well worth the money!!!

Not actually got this up yet, but its all set to go.. picture is clear and the sensor light and alarm works.. should put a prowler off.. i hope!

Since I have installed the camera, every time somebody enters the premises I get a notification on my phone. There are ton of useful featurs such a 2-way communication, infrared night vision, bright LED floodlight as well, loud siren alarm when you want get attention in emergency situation, SD card slot for local storage, scheduling and etc. The Android app is quick and responsive, you can set notifications when specific event occurs, choose detection area (initially I received alarms on every car passing through the street). Still using the trial period, but annual subscription in not expensive at all and depends on time you want to keep record. Good value for the money, it has everything I would like to have for a surveillance.

Because I am not savvy with technology I had someone install this camera and get it working on my smartphone for me so I could see my back parking lot. They said it was easy to install (as long as a power outlet is nearby) however with some electrician magic he was able to extend the power supply cord to reach the camera from an outlet approx 25ft. away. Other than that I was amazed at how easy it was to get connected to my wireless connection and start seeing images. If you are "older person" and need a user-friendly camera that has great image quality, motion sensing, audio and a bunch of other neat features then this is a perfect camera for you. It really has the ability to replace the more common "Ring" cameras at a lower price.I wish I could provide more technical details about the camera, for me the darn thing just works and works great!

sehr gute auflösung, nachts ist die ausleuchtung nicht so gut daher ziehe ich einen stern ab.Ich habe mehrere Foscam-Kameras und bisher habe ich kein Problem

J'ai quelques caméra de surveillance mais celle ci me satisfait le plus. Super qualité d'image.Un autre point positif est la qualité et les possibilités offertes par l'appli.Elle est fréquemment mise à jour. Il y a aussi différents réglages de détection pour les alertes.Autres possibilités intéressantes : allumage d'une lumière ou d'une alarme sonore .Franchement , je suis épaté par cette marque et je compte bien rester fidèle à la marque vu les performances offertes !

Ottima camera con buona visione diurna e notturna; in funzione ininterrottamente dal 2021 si collega per la visione da remoto dall'app dedicata Foscam in maniera istantanea senza perdita di segnale e con visione fluida senza scatti.Possibilità di ascoltare e parlare da remoto grazie all'audio bidirezionale. Buono anche il sistema di rilevamento umano che manda notifiche SOLO in presenza di figura umana e non se volano foglie o si muovono oggetti. Possibilità , al rilevamento allarme di far azionare la sirena integrata e (se di notte con PIR attivi) di far accendere i faretti di illuminazione modulando la soglia di intervento.Possibilità di registrare video in maniera continua su SD interna alla camera (da acquistare a parte) o di utilizzare un registratore a parte o su cloud (con abbonamento extra abbastanza oneroso).Dopo 2 anni di funzionamento garantisco che Foscam magari costa un tantino di più di altre ma il funzionamento è impeccabile; attualmente (di altri modelli ma stessa marca Foscam) ne posseggo 4 e solamente la più datata (circa 9 anni) ha l'unica pecca che si connette non in maniera immediata come le altre più recenti.

I have a number of Foscam cameras. This camera with the built in spotlight should work great for my front porch. The camera needs to use the Foscam VMS software on the computer instead of a browser like the older cameras. The VMS software added the new camera and it was easy to set up. I use a Synology NVR and the NVR saw the camera to add it but the video would not show up. I contacted Foscam support and they said to add the NVR support in the app. I could not find the NVR option in the PC version of the VMS software. I installed the Android VMS app on my phone and the NVR setting was there. The camera now works fine in the NVR. The camera has good video and all of the features seem to work ok. You have the option for sound and an alarm but I have not enabled those features. The PIR and spotlight work well.
