Amazing Durability and Stability
I have worn through many of the ordinary shaped tips. On a two-week trip to Greece, I wore through a regular tip and a foot-shaped tip. So for a 4-month trip, I bought three packages of different shapes and materials. I put one of these on my pole on the first day of the trip and it is still on my pole after 5 months and showing barely any wear. The stability on uneven terrain was fantastic. Cobblestones, mud, and slick bricks had no impact on grip strength. It even performed well on loose sand. One photo has the pole with the worn tip next to an unused tip from the package. The second photo is a close-up and you can see the slight wear on the inner circle of small grippers.

These things are awesome. The original paws on my walking sticks got a hole in them on my first hike. I've gone on at least a dozen 3+ mile hikes carrying 20-50 lb packs, and it doesn't even seem to faze these paws. They still look new. They grip really well, even on rocks and uneven surfaces. Slippery rocks, they have issues with, but I think all paws do. The one issue I do have is that on my particular walking sticks, it doesn't fit completely tight, so it does at times come off when it gets snagged on branches. My buddy though with a wider stick has no problems with the paws coming off.

Best Tips Made
I love to hike & distance walk. Due to knee problems, I have been using walking sticks for about 6 years. I have tried about 6-8 varieties of rubber tips. The PaceMaker Stix tips are by far the best for my use. They provide good traction on a variety of rough & smooth surfaces. They are the best on steep rocky slopes. And, THEY LAST. At my level of use - several miles 4 to 5 times per week - the first pair lasted over 2 years. None of the other tips even came close.

Excellent grip on any surface!
These tips grip everything like crazy! I hike on steep, very rocky trails and these things give me great stability on those uneven surfaces. So far they’ve been very durable too!Update: These tips outlast all others I’ve tried. My trails are basically like hiking up steep, course sandpaper. The old tip on the right probably would have lasted more than the 100 miles I put them through, but I wanted to replace them before a Sierra Trek next week.

That they don't fit tight enough.
Tips were nice but they are big on my poles.. I've already lost a pair.

Great Looking Product and I am Sure They Work, But......
I purchased these to use on a Camino de Santiago trip this fall as much of the trail is on city streets and paved paths. I did not want to hear the constant clicking for 500+ miles. I was also attracted to the paw-like grip they would give on uneven surfaces and over rocks as I use rubber tips even on natural trails, #LNT.However, they are just a tad bit large for either my Black Diamond Trail Pro Shock trekking poles or my CNOC Vertex Carbon and Cork trekking poles that I am planning to take on the trip. It would have been nice to have measurements not a generic "Fits Almost All Brands of Trekking Poles" statement. For those that want to know, the inside diameter on these are 1/2".Thought about returning them but net after shipping is like $4 net, not worth the effort and will find someone in the GATC hiking club who can use them.

DO NOT BUY!
WAY too small for typical poles, sticks, or canes. Complete waste of money unless you need something really little.

Pass it on by.......
Sorry, but this bad boy did not stay on my hiking pole with minimal use. Just not tight enough.

Vraiment satisfait!
