BregUniversal Wrist Lacer

This right hand and wrist BREG ® carpal tunnel splint is the same fantastic quality as my first splint for my left hand. The first one My Orthopedic Surgeon MD charged it to my insurance for my left hand and wrist, 3 years ago, when I shattered my left arm and shoulder. He saw that I had carpal tunnel surgery 19 years ago. On each wrist first the left was the worst and 6 months later the right. My first Orthopedic Surgeon believed me, but was stunned I had suffered with carpal tunnel syndrome for 18 years. When he did the surgery it was heaven. I have worn so many carpal tunnel splints on both hands, many different types. I went through them once a year. The BREG ® carpal tunnel splints are wonderful after wearing my left splint for 3 years, after surgery it lasted never frayed. In the photo the left hand splint is lighter because the sun beam is on it. The left looks the same dark black as the right BREG ® splint.I was a little concerned looking for a splint. Until I realized look at the name of the split I'm wearing. All I did was type in the name BREG® and up it came on the Amazon menu. I appreciate that I could get it through Amazon. I have tried to get it through the medical stores here but in a small town they make small problems huge.I use them to sleep in at night to keep my hands from going back to being severely injured with the carpal tunnel syndrome. I'm 65 I don't need that kind of problem, I woke up one morning my right hand hurt. I knew what I needed, I am so glad I found it. I love the adjustable thumb strap it has served me well with my left hand I know it's going to serve me well with my right. Because I'm wearing the right BREG® splint holding my device in my right hand, without my hand hurting. I love the way the strap goes on it's easy no messing with many different straps to go through holes. It wraps around my arm, one tug and down it goes. Stays there until I pull it open. It's nice the aluminum brace on the inside has its own velcro closure it doesn't sick out. I take it out only when I hand wash the splint. I have found I wash it about once every 6 months. It'll be the same way with this new BREG® splint. I strap them the same as the instructions, I didn't get instructions with my first BREG® splint. This is the easiest way to get them tight. I am thankful I can get it tight, I fell on my knees, I had my brace on it saved breaking my hand, I sprained my hand and tendons in my arm. I would have broke my arm if I was not wearing the BREG® splint. I am was so thankful I was wearing it that day. The the Orthopedic Surgeon trauma Dr asked me to wear the BREG ® splint as a cast to keep from further injuring the tendons in my arm and wrist. That's how great this splint is. If I didn't have it they got me one and would have charge one to my insurance.

Used store bought cheap one first which did not provide adequate support / immobilization. This one is same or similar to those given by orthopedic clinics. Great support and immobilization and not uncomfortable.
