Thermaltake RGB Plus Nightmare
The problem with this product and all the thermaltake tt rgb plus eco system products is that they are a nightmare to set up and get working. I'm several thousand in and I'm an experienced pc builder but I still can't get them to work properly whether I use Thermaltake's own software or the recommended motherboard rgb software suite. I have stalked relentlessly Thermaltake, Gigabyte and Asus forums and the problems with their stuff are well known, there are a lot of frustrated people out there. Don't go down this rabbit hole, I have lost days of my life trying to make pretty colors on an otherwise very functional rig. Danger turnaround.

Might work if I could plug it in
I've got 6 RGB fans in my PC build. The smaller Thermaltake fans came with a controller that took 5 fans - one too few. Getting a controller that supported 9 fans was a great solution. This 9 port controller supports ASUS, MSI, and GIGABYTE RGB signal ports. None of these match the 4-pin RGB headers my ROG STRIX motherboard has. While I can use the 9 port TT controller to power my fans and get them spinning, there's physically no way to plug the RGB portion of the controller to my motherboard. (The 5 port TT controller handles the RGB component through USB headers on the motherboard.)

CAUTION if you have more than 3 fans
It worked but it doesn't meet my needs. If you are connecting more than 3 fans in a sequence animation will not work right. the controller dose control 9 fans but the lighting effect only goes 1, 2, 3 and than repeats so the transition between 3 and 4 doesn't look right. In my PC I have 16 thermaltake fans and a pack lumi plus. Currently I have 4 non sync controllers and 18 of the 20 spaces are used. The functionality of this sync contoler was quite disappointing because with the old non sync controller it goes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and the transition from 5-1 is not great but it is acceptable. Perhaps thermaltake will improve their design and release a v2 but as I said if you have more than a sequence of 3 fans don't get this. If you have six in a push pull you could make this work but that doesn't help me because I have a sequence of 11... Yes my PC is too big that's my fault.
