I came to own several feet of old seatbelt webbing/strapping from an old van. That stuff is SO strong and well made I couldn't bring myself to throw it away. I bought this set of 2" buckles and made two terrific load straps. If you follow the instructions on how to thread the webbing through the buckles, they hold very, very well.

These strap clips are stronger that the ones that can on my car cover, much stronger plastic..

These were purchased to replace the buckle on the belt from shorts I bought at Costco. They were a great replacement for the old buckle.

I'm glad I bought the ten set because I broke two while feeding the strap through the buckles. However, the buckles that did not break seem to work well. Only time will tell how durable they are.
