Just the paint I've been looking for!
I had previously purchased a Daniel Smith 66-color testing page and this was the first color I ended up deciding I needed to buy. It's really rich in color and has a beautiful natural tone to it. I've used it for painting vegetation, grass, and meadows in particular. On the Daniel Smith site, they say it has a granulation with specks of burnt scarlet - it's not as easy to see compared to the pictures on the site, but it is there! Product shipped quickly and without damage. Very happy with this paint.

Daniel Smith makes wonderful watercolor paints.
Arrived well packed and in great shape. Very interesting, granulating color.👍

Never disappoints - excellent paint!
I am a professional artist and prefer Daniel Smith over any brand. The pigments are rich and preform beautifully

Serpentine Genuine
Interesting color. The brightness is close to sap green, yet there is a burnt umber like coloration when the colors separate. Its beautiful, and will make a great addition to my greens. Should work great for trees and a forest wash.

A subtle blend of color that granulates for unique effects - Excellent for landscape palettes
The media could not be loaded. Serpentine Genuine has become a nice addition to my green palette. This is a subtle color that works well with landscapes. What is fascinating about this color is that, when it granulates, a bright green is revealed that is complemented by flecks of burnt earth tones. I found that the most striking effects occur after I’ve let my paint settle for a while. It was incredibly difficult to capture this color in a photograph. In order to achieve the best effect to illustrate granulation, my still photo was taken using sunlight. I also did a video of a wash to give you an idea of how this paint might look when you use it.If you are looking for a new and interesting green to add to your nature palette, then this product might be just what you are looking for. It’s become one of my favorites!UPDATE JULY 2, 2023: I certainly have enjoyed working with this very unique paint. Today, our family visited a museum with a large gem and mineral exhibit. I took a photo of a mushroom carved out of serpentine and I want to share it with you. I really came to appreciate the beauty of this substance even more when looking at an actual specimen. Gorgeous!

D.S Watercolor a hit...Shipping is Not
Daniel Smith Watercolor never disappoints. Amazon shipping however does. It needs to improve how they handle Artist Paints. Appreciate it's availability but it's hardly worth it if your product is delivered damaged.

Mishandling of tube, almost 1 ml paint wasted!
Daniel Smith paints are insanely expensive, they package individual tubes separately to minimize damage, the tube I received from Hakimi stationers was packaged in a box, however the label of the paint in the tube and the label on the box was different. The tube had been removed from it's secure packaging and moved about so when it was opened alot of paint squirted out, at Rs 1599 for 15 ml paint to have wasted almost 1 ml because of bad treatment hurts!! Since the tube is already open one can't even return the product! I ll suggest to buy these from local stores if possible instead of online
