Parts Express Speaker L-Pad Attenuator 50W Mono 1" Shaft 8 Ohm

I routinely use L-Pads to allow me to push my guitar amp tubes into overdrive without reusing the neighbors. I always make sure power rating of pad is at least twice the rated wattage of amp. Crank your volume/gain and use the pad to keep the sound down. No need to pay hundreds for attenuators! Remember that impedance must match amp and speaker!

Watt rating more than enough for a tweeter. Terminals not marked so have an ohmmeter handy.

I am using it, but windings were questionably done on my unit. one side had basically no effect of wiper knob position change and with no infinity position, and in the other direction it had a backwards wind for my application (infinity and max attenuation were full CW). Infinity had a large 30 deg of motion also.

Work great. Used to lower the bass on a pair of older "boomy" speakers. With new receiver recently acquired. was able to readjust the bass levels again.

Is a nice quality wire wound pot. Have a high and low center speaker and wanted to balance between them. Was able to connect them, keep constant 4 ohms and adjust one speaker up/down

make sure you match the wattage , otherwise the attenuation is not very good
